ITT: Kill the avatar

Ignoring the developments/ needless changes to established rules that happened in LoK, what do you think would be the best bet for a normal bender to kill a fully realised avatar?

Their still ultimately flesh and bone. I'd imagine it's all just one big endurance test of evading and dodging until either he slips up first and you can fatally break a bone or a lethal wound.

Lightning.

They same bet for a non-bender: Assassination and stealth. Fighting a fully realized Avatar in a frontal assault is straight up suicide, especially when he triggers OPplsnerf Avatar mode.

Poison.

Metalbending a bullet into his skull from afar

set a trap
>kidnap someone
>you will never catch me avatar
>send him to the wrong location
>load it with enough explosives to blow up an island

given even half a second of warning about a bomb going off, the Avatar could easily bend themselves to safety somehow, or at least minimize the damage they take.

Spend the better part of a century befriending him and then cause a volcano to erupt on an inhabited island

Gun made of platinum

Well I was going to be cheeky and say "Wait for him to die of natural causes and then fight the baby" but then I remembered most Avatars have a longer lifespan

Kill the avatar permanently or just their current incarnation?

The former is far more complicated than the latter.

The obvious solution is to become the Dark Avatar and outlive him

Poison would be effective, can't really do anything about it by throwing the elements around. Waterbender healers might be able to cure it but avatars tend not to be very good at the specialised bending techniques

Why would the shit would you give them a warning?

Is there a more overused pose?

Yes that dumb two fingers shit japs and weebs like. They practically erased Hippie culture

This one is horribly overused on Reddit

What a brilliant plan to have made up on your own

Poison

This

You can't beat him in a fight. He can take on an army. There is no amount you can muster that can overcome him. But you can poison his food, or stick him with a poison dart in his sleep.

what are you talking about

wtf i laughed

Correct answer

Naga is a massive dog and she can't hear nor smell those two?

They’re pretty decent at specialization. Aang was able to spirit bend korra and then others with her as a conduit. The key is that you need to th No of something new that no previous avatar has had to deal with or come up with a solution to. Azula got the jump on Aang with lightning but she’d never be able to hurt korra that way (before she got all past avatars killed) since Aang learned how to redirect it.

did anyone else get rapey vibes the way they talked about korra being poisoned?
