What was your reaction after seeing this?

It was life changing.

"tangled was better"

I fell in love with her.

A bit disappointing

Felt like most went into the Let it Go montage

I fucking loved it when I saw it in theaters, and I suspect most people who deny this are lying to make themselves look cool.

That it was a dick for taking that name. Forever leaving this movie in a shadow for google results

Well it has two beautiful ladies in the lead so I love it.

she isn't real user.

>isn't

Don't care. Still love her.

It was actually way better than I expected. Everyone said it was the worst movie ever, but it was actually pretty good. That snowman was annoying though.

Not sure where they're going to take the sequel, since the story ended well enough. I guess they've got to follow that money.

Her beauty more than makes up for it though.

I haven't seen a new Disney movie since Finding Nemo because I'm no longer 12.

I mean. Are any of us real?
Is any of this real?
I've never seen you, you probably aren't real.
Not as real as Elsa, who at least has a face.

You are garbage.

She's hot.

Didnt see it, the trailer made it look like every other annoying stupid disney film.

The first movie focused on sisterly love.

I'd assume the next one will focus on the traditional romantic kind as Elsa finds a suitor
The Queen being unwed and without an heir is kind of a serious problem in a kingdom where the royalty lead and aren't just figureheads.

The key difference is that it will be about learning to balance two different kinds of love.

I'd also assume the next one follows Elsa more than Anna, the opposite of the first one.

But that movie's shit tho

Pure love

Right after I watched it? Kristoff should've been with Elsa. Ice is his passion and she makes ice. Anna is annoying while Olaf wasn't nearly as annoying as I thought he'd be. The Let It Go sequence was super cool and Elsa's dress was beautiful. Fixer Upper was absolute trash and what was the point of the entire opening sequence. I'm glad they made the movie about love that wasn't romantic but I still kind of wanted romance.

Also but overall it was an okay movie. I never had any motivation to rewatch it but I listen to Let it Go pretty often.

Is that a Barbie?

Liked it well enough. Thought Tangled was better.

I too go into threads to tell people I don't have anything to do with the thread topic.

>that was decent
>tangled was better
>great visuals
>plot is a mess
>the young noble dude turning out to be a bad guy felt forced and unnecessary, and I also suspected it was put in to neatly solve the love triangle without forcing the girl to have to reject someone
>"you tried to murder our entire royal family so as punishment for that we're going to send you back home where you can tell your family whatever story you choose"
I really didn't understand the mania some people here had for it.

>I too go into threads to tell people I don't have anything to do with the thread topic.
Its my right to tell you all youre fucking morons for liking this shit movie

I don't really get why people say tangled was better, I didn't like it nearly as much; Flynn had the personality of a brick wall.

I liked it quite a bit. Thought the songs were fantastic. Of course, I saw it before it became a phenomenon, so thank God for that.

"meh".

then listened to let it go couple more times on youtube and forgot about this movie.

It's a fucking Lion King of our era

HOW?!

>So that's it, huh. Why do people love this so much?

I only like it because of Elsa. She's incredibly beautiful.

Someday, user, someday

I really liked the twist, but otherwise it was pretty boring. Painting Kristoff as the last hope was unconvincing but it really didn't occur to me that Anna would save the day.

It's just so contrarians can stroke their dicks. Nobody actually believes Tangled was better

He was cute, but way too many slapstick scenes against him.

This. I saw the movie opening night and have been in love with her ever since.

Help Elsa get her color back, Sup Forums

This woman is every man's fantasy. She's amazingly beautiful.

>stupid dopey snowman
>ear gratting songs every few minutes
>the entire plot being stupid
>le epic villain twist
>elsa being an dramaqueen the entire time
>the autistic obsession little girls high off glitter and daddies cummies have with this shit movie
>the fact that this shit blew up and now gives disney more of an excuse to make subpar shit they dont have to put any effort in
>the constant sequels and shorts
>the fact i had to sit through 30 mins of olaf acting like some cherry retard before coco
>the waifufaggots like you who will defend a terrible movie and forgive its glaring mistakes just because it gives you fap fuel

Keep going

sexy blonde lead, pretty redhead lead, hilarious sidekicks, catchy songs.

>What was your reaction after seeing this?
"Huh, so you CAN steal the third act of Angels and Demons and not get sued for it."

>hilarious sidekicks, catchy songs.
So you are a retard with no taste then, got it

>admitting that you read Angels and Demons

These are the true villains, along with the trolls.

>these eyes

the more i stare at these the more i feel disturbed

>this girl needs love and family so she can understand her powers
>so we're mindraping her sister's mind so she doesn't remember about her ice powers
>now let's lock the girl inside the castle and have her younger sister unable to see her for literal years
>now let's go kill ourselves in a sea storm so she ends even more fucked

From the very first five minutes I knew the movie's story would be utter trash.

>We could have a story about ice queen with a twist, where gerda is her sister.

>Upon seeing it
Pretty good, don't get the hype around it though.
>Viewing 2 months later
Holy crap Tangled was better. Fuck this movie.

It really charmed me and pulled me into the fandom hardcore, despite its numerous and clear flaws like rushed writing, many shit songs and the animation being really shitty in places. I don't recall being hit that hard by a Disney film since being a kid.

ITS A METAPHOR FOR BEING GAY OKAY

I think I'm in love

man, this movie was shit, wouldn't teach my kid any lessons from this.

The first movie was about Anna; her dealing with her loneliness, being desperate to find love and be accepted, fucking up disastrously and finding out about her sister's curse, trying to fix that and meeting the real love of her life on the way, fucking up disastrously again and pushing her sister into cursing her to death because she's not that smart, experiencing betrayal and learning important life lessons and finally doing a truly selfless thing which ends up saving her life and the kingdom.

The big themes were family strife, loneliness and isolation, the many ways fear can fuck people's lives up, hurting people who you love because you make mistakes and then forgiveness and second chances despite said mistakes. Family love is just as true as romantic love! Family!

The next movie I suspect will be about Elsa and her continuing journey towards being a competent ruler with good self-esteem and better mental health. Likely she'll emerge more from her shell of isolation and fear and get a love interest, or at least start to feel attraction towards someone.

Probably some more family themes and getting over misunderstandings and arguments with your siblings. Hopefully some political plotting and adventure too - I really want to learn more about the Southern Isles.

Apparently the Frozen writer-directors and producers made a trip to Norway to learn about the Sami and their culture and ways, so I'd assume Kristoff gets more focus, too.

No, it's fucking not. It's a Disney fairytale. She literally has actual magical powers, it's not a metaphor for anything.

It was remarkable how much I was enjoying the movie up to Let It Go and after that segment the high faded until the crash with the Hans reveal; before that I was expecting a really mature and great lesson about how liking someone who is genuinely a nice guy who does great things isn't true love. Then the reveal hit and I ended up driving home later on with my sister as we both lambasted the shitty twist and how narrative dishonest it was compared to the first half of the movie.

I fucking hate that Love Is An Open Door is considered a villain song now, it was pure magic for me listening to that in the theater the first time and I still think it's one of the best love songs Disney made since Kiss The Girl.

Disappointment. I can't think of a more overhyped movie. And this one was pretty weak by itself.

Yeah, I'd have loved for the movie to address Anna's romantic flightyness a bit and how she did rush into the romance too soon, how Hans seemed a bit uncomfortable the more time he spent with her, and how she was a better match with Kristoff - that sometimes you can rush into a match with someone who seems perfect at first and is a great guy in their own way, but just isn't right for you, how the huge rush of infatuation doesn't equal true love and how someone who's annoying at first can turn out to be a great match - and how to solve that embarrassing triangle in a dignified way. I mean Anna WAS engaged to Hans who she believed was her true love while falling for Kristoff. I thought it would have been Kristanna-Helsa endgame, where both Anna and Hans would struggle to blurt out that they're attracted to other people and this engagement was a mistake.

But nooooo, you had to stuff in a hammy villain twist so that Anna could just skip into the arms of the new guy without any guilt or awkwardness whatsoever.

not that user but
>what is an allegory

Redhead lead? You mean Hans?

Yet ANOTHER /frz/ thread.

But Anna didn't learn shit. She didn't save the kingdom- it was all Elsa.

I thought it was good but lukewarm

Nevertheless, it's not an allegory for homosexuality, retarded people just want to interpret it that way because hurr if a woman isn't lusting after men and dreaming of het romance every moment it must mean she's a lesbian.

Same with the family in Oaken's sauna: it's clear from the storyboard as well as the animation that it's just some random family, but some people were so determined to see gay undertones in Frozen they ignored the wife of the family.

well I didn't say I agreed with that user that it's an allegory about homosexuality

"the mickey mouse short that played before it was better"

they're both so sexy.

i am from Russian and i love Frozen. But in my country people don't speak about this movie anymore. I want to learn english to talk with you

It was good, but Hans plot twist seemed a bit too forced.

Your English seems pretty okay!

...

It Alright

>Ohhh, so THAT'S why there's so much incest fanart

usually we get them earlier in the winter...

she will be burning coal and/or munching carpet (not Anna) in the next movie user

That it was obviously rewritten halfway through to make Hans the bad guy and Elsa the misunderstood outcast hero.

Not perfect, but not as bad as people make it out to be. The story is kind of a mess and Elsa doesn't get nearly enough screentime for how interesting she is compared to Anna.

Frankly, Brave deserves the hate Frozen gets.

Literally this

I decided to sit down and finally watch both one day and while Tangled’s final third of the movie or so was my literal ass, at least the rest of the movie was enjoyable.

Frozen was mediocre at best and painfully annoying at worst the whole way through. Before I even found out about it being the fact, the first thing I said to my gf while watching was that it felt like there was a rushed re-write halfway through.

Too bad Let it Go was already an overused meme by the time I watched Frozen since it’s (apparently) one of the best parts of the movie and I couldn’t even enjoy that.

>My God....I must continue buying random merch for this movie years after it has long stopped being relevant.

>Iceman being in a non-superhero film about ice

Oh the irony

Warmachine guy?

It was all right

I was pretty excited for Frozen before it released and basically shilled for the movie, but was pretty disappointed when I saw it. Way too much focus on wacky roadtrip with Kristoff.

Watched it a few months after it aired in theaters. I thought it was absolutely mediocre. Frozen Heart was my favorite song and the rest sounded like Broadway garbage. I should've known considering who was starring, but I went in completely blind. At least I didn't pay for it.
Also, the animation sucks dick but the bauhaus bitches that is modern audiences don't care about quality animation so I never bring it up.
I know why people want to fuck the shit out of all the characters. Disney genetically designs their characters to be as appealing to the largest audience as possible.

Enjoy the movie. I really don't care anymore. I would just like to have "Let it Go" and all associated peoples singing it (child thru adult) when it became an oversaturated mess to be wiped from my memory completely.

I did smile a bit in seeing how the ending wasnt really part of the disney formula.

Olaf felt pretty shoe horned in there. Though he would have aladdin's genie level of importance /screen time. But he was racoon humming bird tier. I do realize he had larger parts in "promotional materials" however. Woulda though he would have as much or more importance to story as the reindeer. But that wasnt the case.

1000 frozen generals
nobody likes olaf
1000 pornographic images and webms

Too many songs.

That woman has the face of a supermodel. Therefore she's hot.

Kind of understood why it was so well liked in its initial showings; That being said, this movie is still overated trash

Liked it. Felt different. Songs seemed different from the usual for me and i liked that.

I remember mouthing "Wow" at the end of Let It Go when I saw it in theaters on opening night. I don't care how popular it got, I thought the song and visuals during that whole sequence was amazing. Everything after that song was a bore though. Even worse was that the last song was sung by the fucking trolls.

"Eh."
