Does anyone find it funny that Gamergate, in all of its cringey splendor, was what lead to President Trump?

Who the fuck could've predicted that?

and how did you make that conclusion?

>Le Sup Forums got Drump in the office XDD
No, in the grand schemes of things, we were pretty insignificant.

It wasn't GG you fag. It was a reactionary movement against cultural changes in society like PC, faggotry, open borders, etc.

No it wasn't
You faggot Sup Forumsirgin

CNN just reported on Sup Forums yesterday for helping to fuel the rise of the alt-right movement.

GG wasn't a cause, it was a symptom

NAFTA got Trump elected, not autists on imageboards

(((CNN)))

>underage Sup Forumsirgins trying to make themselves seem self important for wasting their life on low brow menial tasks
no. a single person who actually got out and worked on the ground for Trump has contributed more than all you fags combined. Now go waste your time some more on your retard tier "hobby" while complaining about muh es jay dubyoos. That's all you did back then and it's all you'll ever do in life you purposeless impressionable fucks.

no, it was actually the migrant crisis in Europe, the terrorist attacks, Hillary's corruption, 8 years of Obama and the American economy slowly going to shit. People above the age of 35 didn't vote Trump because of some retarded internet drama/videogame journalism fiasco

this. Sup Forums has tens of thousands of posters at most

Also Hillary Clinton

Pol is the reaction bot they cause. Our memetic warfare was top notch though.

NAFTA and the mainstream media. In their attempts to demonize/mock him, they only made him stronger

Of course the fucking MSM is going to do a report on us, we're literally "those weird racist hacker guys" in their eyes.
The election was won because of butthurt middle-class idiots, racist fucks and legitimate fucking idiots.
Hillary only won the popular vote because of niggers and spics though.

What the fuck was Gamergate even about? Was that shit seriously just feminists bitching about sexism in video games or some shit?

I never trusted other opinions on games, so I never browsed gaming sites and missed all of the drama.

>racist fucks
>legitimate fucking idiots

get out

try living in a 60% country before you judge them, cum guzzling socialist

GG redpilled a lot of lefties, myself included. If I hadn't lost faith in liberal media, I never would've considered the Don.

Follow the word cuck, it's origin of being spammed by 13 year olds starts there.

Sorry to disappoint you but CNN lied. Goodbye now new friend, sorry things didnt work out here on your first day

Basically it stated as a protest against corruption in video game magazines/reviews. Publishers blatantly paying for reviews either with cash or merchandise, or blackmailing with press copies of games.
There was also one rumor of a female vidya developer having sex a game journalist who gave her shitty game a lot of exposure in return. Ignoring everything else that GG stood for, kike media jumped on this and used it to portray GG as a movement that shames poor women who cheat on their boyfriend to promote their game.
You can imagine the rest. Every time a legit argument was brought up about vidya journalism being corrupt, it was immediately silenced by the YOU'RE A MISOGYNIST card.
It was literally the same tactic that was used recently everywhere against Trump supporters to suppress discussion.

>Does anyone find it funny that Gamergate, in all of its cringey splendor, was what lead to President Trump?

No all Gamergate did was that when you have a big enough base that retaliates and HOLDS its ground you beat the living shit out of liberal bullshit without even trying.

The thing is that when it first started with academia and atheism was that it was a horde vs a couple of people. Of course they were gonna lose. When they got into the entertainment business people were just perplexed with the stupidity but never could put a face/name to the problem so people simply assumed that they were just out of touch and completely lost their minds.

Now you fast forward to gamergate and people started to see a trend. So with gamers standing their ground long enough many iconic figures that already experienced this crap spoke up and help put a face/name to the problem. Which was all thanks to people like christina hoff sommers, Milo, kingofpol and internetaristocrat(?).

Though the majority of the credit goes to Sup Forums. (I personally wasn't a /po/tard until the events of 5 guys burgers and fries which was slowly turning into gamergate). Sup Forums was the resistance fighting the long battle. Gamergate was just a small coalition of gamers that stood up, told lib shits that they were insane and obnoxious and slammed the door on them.

The only credit Gamergate has is showing that the special fruitcakes known as progressive liberals really have no power on any establishment that they aren't consistent consumers of and many of their strongholds literally crumbled under their own weight. Such as Gawker and the corrupt indie dev scene.

Was Fox News correct when they said we made vans explode?

>Basically it stated as a protest against corruption in video game magazines/reviews.

Gamergate was simply a movement that was able to put a face/name to the bias and later to be known collusion in the video game industry.

The overall corruption became spread and known because the idiotic libs left a massive trail that could be traced back to academia and people could dig even future but who the fuck wants to go down that rabbit hole? Since you can't take a battle directly to the source most of the time and there isn't a need to. Fighting the liberal left is simply too worse than playing on easy with cheat codes. There's no way you can lose.
