Overused tropes that you love anyway

>Bad guy pretend he's the hero while the hero is away

I'm guessing you accidentally used the wrong image?

Name 99 times that happened

Doesn't seem overused, really.

Not overused as far as I know, but I feel like bringing it up.
>villain develops amnesia
>hero/heroes help villain either out of the goodness of their heart or because they don't know it's a villain
>villain regains memories
>instead of going back to the status quo, villain stays with the good guys
Bonus points if the villain is a girl and becomes a love interest.

Cease.

Secret identity shenanigans, plain and simple. It's what I miss most from classic superhero movies

You gonna make me, fag?

>When the villain plays the hero's role.
I actually find those to be one of the more interesting cliches. It shows the villain interacting more with the hero on a personal level and it also shows the villain in a good light.

It's really good, we need more like this.

...

>Bubbly girl
>Has depth
>Is also adorable

Full swap, or classic body-but-not-voice ?

>Has depth
People actually believe this.

>Adorable
Fucking what nigga?

he probably meant her vagina.

This.
Star is IMPLIED to have depth, but we never actually see her being deep. I always get the feeling we're being told "SHE'S GROWING OFF SCREEN"
Moon, on the other hand...

Remember that episode of The Batman where Joker pretended to be Batman? That was great. What was that episode called again?

Source

Whadaya know, I found it.
Called 'The Laughing Bat', S2 E04 of The Batman.
I asked because I thought the title was eerily similar to the name of that new evil Batman.

>someone about to announce someone
>character starts to get up, they're either smug or trying poorly to be humble
>someone else gets called
normally i do like it when you play around with it a little bit like 'and the winner is user...'s little brother Jeffy'

Has ‘overused’ just come to mean ‘i think i saw this happen more than once’ or what?

>character is running
>there is a shot of a piece of food like an apple, either stationary or someone is holding it
>first character flashes by
>the apple is gone
>next shot is running character eating the food while running
>bonus points if the someone that was holding the food looks surprised or confused when it disappears

Alternatively
>chase scene, characters running frantically or falling
>there is a shot of some empty clothes, usually ridiculous frilly clothes, possibly hung on a line to dry
>characters flash by real fast
>next shot they are wearing the ridiculous ill fitting outfit

fuck that
