So it was just a dream?

So it was just a dream?

No, it was real but GOLB erased that world out of existance

This. It was a forgotten memory of a world that once was, but now wasn’t.

I USED TO READ WORD UP MAGAZINE

Erased? When was this established. I just remembered that Finn bounces off of GOLB at the end of that episode as he was dying.

It’s GOLB I ain’t gotta explain shit

No. It was a parallel world Finn "fell" in. His life there really happened; he just can't remember it.

It was very clearly just a dream and everyone who says otherwise is retarded

It was a reference to The Inner Light, an episode of Star Trek TNG.
They even had Frakes (Commander Riker) voice Old Finn

Finn had a beautiful loving wife and family and the trade off was losing Jake and his friends for it. If Finn knew what he does now do you guys think he'd do it all over again?

You Forgot Your Floaties established that GOLB erases things out of existance

probably not
pillow world was fucking awful
no food, no other humans, pillows are okayish at fucking

That I understand. But what indicates that GOLB erased pillow world if it even existed in the first place?

They wouldn't just put him in the episode for no reason user
>Finn meets entity that erases worlds
>can't rememebr the world he's been to
Too much of a coincidence.

>They wouldn't just put him in the episode for no reason user

Nigga Adventure Time is full of red herrings.

>Too much of a coincidence.

You forget that GOLB erases Margles but Magic Man can still remember her.

That stands to reason that if GOLB is malevolent, it erases things and enables you to remember so you're doomed to suffer. Things it doesn't erase, you forget so it wouldn't have existed at all from your perspective which is a form of suffering for those you forgot. That's how I interpret it anyway, I'm not expecting proper continuity in lore but Magic Man's case stands out.

There obviously was pillow based food or else he would have died, there already arent any humans he can communicate with on Ooo and okayish at fucking is better than none at all.

Just because he could eat pillows doesn't mean he only wants to eat pillows for the rest of his life

Here's what I do know. It was a real ending, and when AT finally ends (and if the ending sucks ass) then I'm going to play this episode last and cut it right when Finn dies of old age.

We see him be a hero, a legend, fall in love, raise a family, and grow old all in one episode. Showing by far better story telling and plot development in one episode than in all the series the past couple of years.

He ended up eating pillows for the rest of his life in that world at least.

>okayish.
Are you insinuating that purple lumps and fire are better?

yeah, but not because he wanted to
he dragged his family around pillow world in search of a portal home

I'm sure wizard pussy is boss

and LSP could be the best lay Finn ever gets, we don't know, you don't know

...

Magic Man is not a human, it may have a somewhat different effect on him
Or maybe GOLB wasn't quite as powerful back when he erased Margles
Or maybe GOLB can just do it both ways randomly

There's a lot of room for headcanons
