What if Tony got the symbiote instead of building the suit?

What if Tony got the symbiote instead of building the suit?

Then his shtick wouldn't make any sense.

So? This is hypothetical shit.

What if cape comics where well written and didn't relie on gimmicks to keep thins interesting?

At least use better fan art. Also this . It's the kind of uninspired writing that gave us Red Goblin

I didn't say anything about wanting this to be in the comics. I'm just asking hypothetically what would happen if he got the symbiote suit from the start.

That is literally one of the suits he uses for a long time, that mimics a symbiote's biology.

The suit would become an alcoholic

The thing that helped Tony to become Iron Man was his cellmate (at least in the MCU) and using the armor to keep his heart beating IIRC, without those circumstances, he probably would ended up full villian.

Would he have some brains to go with the alcohol?

>his cellmate (at least in the MCU)
Pretty sure that's true in the comics too, the only key difference being that he was Chinese.

Actually...that's not a bad metaphor for alcoholism.

>Drinks too much too often turns into a dark, slobbering monster.

Already happened.

Good shit too.

tfw this could have carried on if it wasn't for secret wars

I'd like to think the suit would become a Jiminy Cricket in a way, the suit would reject alcohol and keep poking Tony's subconscious with "You're better than this" or "You have people depending on you, get up". Because Symbiotes aren't malicious creatures

>It's the kind of uninspired writing that gave us Red Goblin

Waaaaait a minute
Slott is writing Red Goblin
Slott will be writing Iron Man
Slott may have posted on Sup Forums

Is OP actually Slott?

I never said anything about wanting it to actually be a story, tard.

>that eye on his suit

This fucker following Horus or something?

I tought that was the OP's question.
What if he just get a regular simbionte instead of making a hybrid.

He would rather get an Anti-venom suit instead of poison one.
