The keyword is 'concentration' though, it wasnt done to specifically kill them. The deaths that came about were due to the close conditions at a time where medicine and hygiene was still shit.

Thats also what happened in the german concentration camps, but in that case they were treated badly and left to rot on purpose. The death camps were for killing, the concentration camps were for working. For us they were to keep the boers under control temporarily and we never had death camps because were not heartless anti-whites unlike the germans.
