Although I live in NY, which has got to be one of the top three worst.
Pennsylvania here. I live in chester county, which is in southeastern PA. "Philly burbs" so to speak. It's like the perfect mix between rural and urban. There are farms and rolling hills and beautiful scenery and where I live has the feel of a comfy place out in the boonies, but I'm still less than an hour away from Philly, and other metro areas are very close by as well. And beaches in jersey, delaware aren't too far away either.
And it's very huwhite. Except Kennett Square where all the beaner mushroom pickers took over. Fuck that place.

Weather is a hit or a miss (if you don't like the weather in Tennessee, wait five minutes) Not too bad in the winter, summers are a bit hot though.
My hometown got on a top 10 list for places to live off the grid because of the uber cheap land. Mean wage is a bit low but with cost of living it works out pretty well.
