What are your favorite examples of theriomorphic and xenomorphic characters in Sup Forums media?
After all, In medium that has long relied on stylization, exaggeration and even outright anthropomorphic animals this is really only a natural extension of the creative process. Further more it seems such characters have the magnetism to help build fandoms around relatively mediocre or obscure works thus why we're seeing so many of these in upcoming pilots and working concepts.
How can this possibly go wrong?

The comic has no hook besides "it looks nice", and plotwise it's another "i saw Slayers" pseudo-medieval fantasy romp. Either get a writer so the comic isn't as dull as dishwater, or get an original idea.

Feels like "my hot girl and non-distracting easy to draw cute thing do whatever is fun to draw right now." The frog's design is just bad. This kind of format works best when you start in-medias-res with the characters having more clearly defined goals after spending time together.

I can't read the frog as anything but a turtle, and I know other people are in the same both. It's probably because the frog's eyes are so beady, when frogs are known for having large eyes bugging out of their head.

All he's really got is the long tongue, which isn't visible at a glance. His eyes kinda go for the horizontal pupils but don't commit, going instead for small accents that most people won't read as Kermit style have-it-both-ways pupils. Meanwhile he's got stubby features and a very round head, which most people associate with turtles and various lizards. He's more like a squirtle than anything.
