When I heard James Robinson was going to take over this book, I was expecting exciting new interpretations of classic Wondy characters. What I got instead was Geoff Johns' shitty Fourth World fanfic.

That's just fucking dumb user every time the New gods show up in books like this they seem to forget that they are New gods. Darkseid vs Zeus should end in a matter of second so Diana should really stand a chance its just bad story telling.

That would go a long way towards redeeming this run. But unless this issue really is a call for help on the writer's part, it kinda feels like too little too late.
And like that other user said, introducing the new versions of these rogues in a throwaway scene like this is pretty crappy, especially if Robinson leaves the title before some other writer has to make shit up to explain them.
Granted, not too difficult for Zara and Angelette, since they're a cult leader and probably Angle Man's daughter respectively. But Blue Snowman? In this day and age? Yeah, she requires some actual thought to not fuck up. Unless you go the lazy route and just make it a joke or something, I guess.
