Goodnight sweet princess. At least for now

Goodnight sweet princess. At least for now...

>Does this mean she's in a holding pattern infinite loop?

>long haired gwen
oh my

Not quite, since short-haired Gwen becomes long-haired Gwen, but we don't see what happens to long-haired Gwen. So while it is a loop, it's not a closed one.

she will live on in /aco/

The loop isn't infinite. Hastings' letter in the book that the loop will go on until someone comes along and uses her for stories.

>>Does this mean she's in a holding pattern infinite loop?
no because her comic ended and marvel is not publishing a story about ''future Gwen''.

Not as such. She lives in a perceived linear timeline outside of panelspace, so as long as the Marvel timeline remains unbroken, she can watch the pages pass by.
She just doesn't get to re-enter until a writer lets her.

No, it just means the writer was trying to be deep. She's dead.

I'm not going to forget her.

>Goodnight sweet princess. At least for now...

The book was so bad that the writter doesn't have a single project coming out next.

One day she'll return.

>witer self-insert say gwen will live on in fan fiction
Any good r34 of gwen?

She looks like a normie Brittany.
Ew.

Something that upsets me about Gwenpool is that she has pretty skin.
If she's supposed to be female Deadpool, powers included, she should have the disfiguring super-cancer for the healing factor.
But nope, cant hope to sell books with a tumorfaced chick, fewer people will beat off to that, and sex sells.

...

Can you at least try to pretend you read the book? Like, look at a wiki or something and learn even a single fact about the character. Fuck.

Kindly explain it to me, then, as I'm certainly not reading this shite.
I'll be the first to admit I think the concept is stupid, but I'd really like to hear you guys excuse this blatant fapbait character

She's not a female Deadpool in practice. Before she was an actual character, she was just Gwen Stacy as Deadpool. But when they actually made her a character, she was her own person, with no ties to either of the two. Her name is Gwen Poole, and her costume is a Deadpool knock-off because her tailor mistook her actual name as her alias, and thought she wanted to be a Deadpool derivative.

In-universe, there's no relation between her and Deadpool until they met. In fact, she never even read his books.

You could've just ignored her instead of taxing an already languid mind of yours with weak shitposting and obvious bait.

She does not have Deadpool's power. She's a character who's from real life, who put on a costume on the justification that wearing a costume and thus, being a superhero, would make her safer than just being a random civilian for the villain of the day to murder violently.

Originally, her power was just an extensive knowledge of Marvel and thus, secret identities and such. Eventually that wore off, so she developed the ability to interact with and jump between comic panels.

I don't know why this surprised us,
given that theoretically the only being above a comic reader is the comic creator, who is the One Above All.

I never tired of this page.

She's from our world and through a Science Experiment went into the Marvel Universe the costume is a joke because her last name is Poole and the first person she ran into was someone that made costumes for heroes and villains.

She heard Gwenpool and since this was also when Deadpool had his crew things went the way they did.

And her powers are just extra dimensional movement and literal plot armor.

But can she beat empty hand?

She can't beat anyone that's considered too important.

I'm being 100% serious when I say that you should. It is, honest to god, the only good thing Marvel's released in years. It's genuinely funny, deceptively dark without being edgy, makes NO effort to portray Gwen's actions as heroic or anything but entirely self-serving and destructive, and probably the most fun I've had reading a Marvel comic since 2007 outside of fan content like I Don't need your Civil War and Muh Phoenix. I went in expecting an lol book filled to the brim with teenage humor and Daniel Way-tier random non-sequiturs, and instead I got a book with a good sense of humor and some great writing and art from people that understand that this type of comic's first and foremost job is to be fun to read. I read through the whole story time and it changed my stance on this book entirely.

Seriously, give it a try. I'm glad I did.

If you're afraid of the sjw boogeyman,
it's not like that at all.

Time to buy that Japanese figma and hot glue it all over.

This. It's the most fun I've had with Marvel in forever.

Also thanks for reminding me of Muh Phoenix. The best thing Nuzlocke ever produced, unironically. Gonna read it again now.

I WANT FUTURE GWEN TO BULLY ME

>>Does this mean she's in a holding pattern infinite loop?
Nah the older one with longer hair leaves the younger one at some point. So it's
>Gwenpool visited by CancelledGwen
>They talk, Cancelled tells her to live her final pages however she enjoys
>CancelledGwen leaves
>Gwenpool gets cancelled
>Goes back a few pages to visit SoonToBe CancelledGwen
>Tells her to enjoy her final pages
>Leaves and continues her life off panel until she gets referenced again in continuity

The only awful thing about Gwenpool are the issues without gurihiru art.

strychalski more or less redeemed herself on her last issues, but i´m not sure if the new colorist helped her in that aspect.

>I'm being 100% serious when I say that you should. It is, honest to god, the only good thing Marvel's released in years

this is what makes people not want to try this book, that you have to shit on the few good titles that marvel has in order to sell us this shit character

>Gwen with long hair
Oh....oh my that’s a good look for her

>shit on good titles
Please tell me what's good

I don't believe that. I'm not saying there aren't other good titles, but by experience most of the people I've seen shitting on the series are doing so because they don't even know the basic premise.

Anyway, instead of trying to find a reason to hate it over such a ridiculous reason, why not just post other good examples of recent Marvel works? I'm sure other anons would appreciate some good recommendations.

>Gwen being bully
Silly user, Gwen is for GETTING bully

>few good titles
Man, I read just about every ongoing, and I can't think of any that brought me any semblence of entertainment beyond a "so bad, I can't turn away" or the occasional sporadic moment where I got a nice line of dialogue.

Even Spider-man was mostly a bore, and I'm the biggest spideyfag I know.

I want to read this, is there a mega available?

You're right

B U L L Y

B U L L Y!

>long hair
>just when the book is fucking ending
WHY NOT EARLIER YOU HACKS

Rip in peace gwenpool you will forever be in our hearts. and porn

Is one of few Marvel comics that I enjoyed in the last year.

jesus deadpool went full savage

>FAP

Thanos has turned out to be surprisingly dope. Also, Moon Knight is pretty fun.

Yeah moon knight is pretty good

tumbling down down down

God I hope so. Maybe the constant amount of rule34 of her will keep her alive and eventually renew her for a new series.

Keep her in the conversation. With your penis.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one.

I had trouble trying to try and explain and put into context what I actually enjoyed about the series. But it's basically what you guys said it's fun and actually plays with its story rather than fit into a larger narrative or try and sell me an sjw ideology.

Just some chick trying to make her series popular.

They straight up changed from gwens cartoony gag comic art style to deadpools for that page.

Shit like this is why this comic is good.

The thumbnail made it look that Gwen was bottomless and placed her bare butt on a scanner

Am I the only one?

gwens too pure for that. she is probably still a virgin

But you could argue that it's a pure and childish thing to do, nothing lewd.

She just puts her bare big butt on scanners to make copies as something funny, ha ha

>Being this naive

>le the only girls worth having are virgins
Fuck off weeb

Gwen is a shut-in, otaku, nerdy dropout. He'll, she probably browsed Sup Forums. So, she's just as virgin as the rest of us.

F sweet princess

Does Long-Haired Gwen become Heather Antos?!

Why does this satisfy me so much...

I wish Heather Antos would just shut up, she's unnecessarily poisoning the water

how so

A lot of people complain about the character by claiming she's Heather's self insert when really Heather just likes coaplaying as the character.

She's RPing as Gwen Poole and answering Twitter questions in character. That's a step further than just cosplay. It's not appropriate when you're actually the assistant editor of the book

Why focus on someone who means nothing d&c. Your the reason marvel gets to claim the higher ground even when the ground is rock bottom.

>It's not appropriate when you're actually the assistant editor of the book
Seems like one of the few cases where that is appropriate, actually. Particularly since Antos was the person in charge of the letters page, and the letters page was always written in-character as Gwen. So her doing it on her twitter account is just an extension of her doing it in the book which has been the case since damn near the beginning.

Eh. It's not really harmful, but I do feel a kind of secondhand embarrassment for her. She keeps doing this stuff and it's really lame. It's not quite on the level of a fat kid wearing playing with a katana, but it's getting there.

>I Don't Need Your Civil War

>Spidey: BOTH sides are insane?! This isn't fair.....

I fucking love that parody.

>Why focus on someone who means nothing
I'm not D&C. The book undeniably would be better received if not for Heather Antos' twitter antics. When the book just came out, how many alt right comicgators anti-SJW dumbcucks instantly dismisses it as SJW le so crazy Deadpool purely because the character's hair is based on Heather Antos' hair circa 2014.

Youtube cucks who put SJW on their video title to garner views like Captn' Cummings and Yellow Flash dismissed the book and call for its cancellation right away. While their audience is miniscule, comic audience is generally miniscule and alt right MRA types aren't generally that bright to begin with.

FINISH HER

>this comic is good
lets not get carried away, comblr

>She keeps doing this stuff and it's really lame.
It's shameless SJW twitter self promotion. It's all about Heather Antos and not the character she's working on because it is on her personal Twitter account.

A fun and professional way to do Q&A in character is to make a fake Gwen Poole twitter account. I don't care if it's Heather Antos or whoever run the Gwen Poole twitter account. Doing Q&A in character for IP that you don't actually own, on your personal twitter account is strictly unprofessional self promotion

You're fucking retarded. No one gives a shit about her except outrage fags.

>as SJW le so crazy Deadpool
That's exactly what it is though.

>except outrage fags.
That's like 1-2k lost sales. When comics are selling this shit that pitiful amount of sales actually do matter

The comic died because it was terrible. The only reason it survived for as long as it did was because of the SJW/mangatard crowd propping it up.

I miss her already
