Webcomics you want to reread but can't bring yourself to

I want to reread Zoophobia, but the fact that it's not coming back until lord knows when and all the negativity surrounding it make me not want to.

I want to reread Endtown but it's exhausts me emotionally even though is in 10/10

Zoophobia will never update and thank god it ended because the writting got beyound cringeworthy in the furry anti crhist and his friend girly boy part

Homestuck. I really want to, but the damn webcomic is rather a huge book full of text at this point, so I cannot yet man up to reread it.

TwoKinds.

They spent forever on the fucking boat and I lost interest in furry TF preg drama

Fuck, I loved Sparkplug Sanders so much. Probably one of the most interesting characters of the series.

The fact that his design looks like it was ripped straight out of an Archie comic makes his insanity all the more scary.

El Goonish Shive

I remember being a fan up until Cascade and then a couple of pages after that. That was right around when they introduced the new kids, right? Who were supposed to be the parents by as kids or something?

I just remember in my head groaning and going, "We're starting over again? Fucking really?" and I stopped. Apparently, according to everyone, that was the right place to stop at because the story took a consistent dive since then.

Now looking back, I have no clue how I even found the time to read content up to that point, it rivals the fucking Bible in length.

I love blasternation before the "friendzone" arc...after that, the comic go full SJW

Boxer Hockey questionable content

PIC related

Kit n’ Kay Boodle

Started rereading this two weeks ago and I just made it to the start of the most recent arc with Portia and Walt and HOLY FUCK it's like the world's longest, most unforgiving emotional roller coaster. Every time you think things are gonna level out it drops you 400 ft through a triple corkscrew loop-de-loop.

hehe, that's funny though

Gunnerkrigg

I want to reread Paranatural, but I'm afraid seeing how good it used to be will make me stop following it altogether.

YOU FOOL!

There is no negativitee surrounding Zoophobia if you ignore this place.

Sluggy Freelance. I really should just so I can remind myself what the fuck is going on, and how in the hell things got that way, but I can't do it. I know it's going to be about 50% filler to skip through, and a shit ton of shitty story arcs like Oceans Unmoving, and I just can't do it. It just doesn't feel worth it. If Pete does an abridged edition one day with all the filler removed and the shittier parts cut down, I'll consider it. Until then, I don't wanna go through 20 years of comics.

there is negativity on Something Awful

I hate how this guy star was the protagonist but end up without a complete character development, he was not even in the ending scene

I....actually came here to post this. But I'll add 8-Bit Theatre and Bob and George onto that as well. Used to read B&G back in the day but it hasn't aged that well so last time I tried to reread it ended with disinterest. 8-Bit Theatre I never finished but I used to keep up with that too, stopped reading sometime before they class change because updates didn't come quickly enough and I'm the type that likes to let a bunch of stuff pile up and then binge, rather than read something daily.

Sushigummy

Hold the fuck up, Blastercomics ended?

I will never be ready to revisit Cheap Thrills

too hard, too harsh

On that note I won't be able to revisit Drop Out

I do the same thing, since most of the stuff I read doesn't even update on a regular basis. I check comics about once every 2-3 months and catch up.

Sluggy is an archive hell on a special level. Not only is there a ton of material, but Abrams has major "WORDS WORDS WORDS" issues. He needs a fucking editor. Doesn't help matters any that he will have one or two pages containing important plot information buried in two weeks worth of exposition, or one funny joke out of every 14 he tries. If I hadn't been reading since 2005, I wouldn't even bother.

Poppy

Gone with the Blastwave. My life was a lot better when I first read it, and I don't want to taint those memories

if u excuse the length of the thing, it's actually very easily digestible

compare to, say, unsounded, which is a mountain punch of lore

Shit, I kinda wanna go reread it now.

I'm still mad that they dropped this for what is safe to say the most boring webcomic on the planet. Seriously, like 90% of Rock Cocks is pointless filler. Prove me wrong.

I really wanna read the old versions of a comic called heartcore. The only thing that was interesting because of boobs for succubus and that's basically it at the end of the day.

same fucking situation with me user, i was a consistent reader up until then and as soon as the new kids showed up i was done. we had 20+ plus characters that we had just gotten done with getting to know and hussie decides to dump an entire extra cast of fuckers with their own new universe to boot. i cant imagine what he was thinking

Good taste.
I will never get over CheapThrills not having an ending. Its such a strongly written webcomic and being in the midwest myself it just hits right in the feels. So i like to revisit it about once a year.
Drop Out even though its in that tumblr corner is still a fantastic comic regardless of sparklegenders that encapsulates self-absorbed self-destruction and depression that i love it.
>let me drop the only fucking thing that anybody gave a shit about in this comic so i can do my derivative “””””worldbuilding””””” infodumps in the actual story instead of just dumping them on my porn tumblr
Seriously morbi what the fuck nobody gives a shit about fucking light novels
