>In an epic tale of bravery and heroism, Kulipari: Dream Walker takes us deeper into the action packed tale of an unconventional hero. After the destruction of the Amphibilands, this season continues the story in Nova Australis which is protected by an elite group of super-powerful Kulipari warriors with their poison-enhanced abilities lead by our hero, Darel, former wood frog and now The Blue Sky King. Here the Frogs, Lizards, Spiders, Platypuses and even Scorpions – are attempting to live in peace but threats from the Outback are causing increasing concern; bandits, rogue Scorpions, and even savage raiders from the dark city of Cardigal. When the evil and extremely powerful Lord Darkan of Cardigal captures a young Kulipari whose abilities are the stuff of legend, it is time for Darel to lead a rescue mission – leaving Nova Australis in the care of young, inexperienced Kulipari who must quickly learn to be the heroes they were meant to be.

Is this worth watching?

I miss Toad Patrol...

Yes. I liked the first season.

I take it the younger Kulipari are his siblings, so there’s a time skip before.

Another poster.

The story is pretty good and surprisingly dark towards the end, and the designs and art look great. Unfortunately, the animation itself is awful and the pacing is really off. The first half is incredibly slow and the second half rushes through a lot.

It's fairly run of the mill hero type stuff, but pretty entertaining if you like 2d animation and furry

Where did you get that info?

Hopefully this time around the creators will pay the animators.

Huh?

I can't get over frog girls having tiddies. it makes zero sense. Do they nurse their disgusting tadpoles?

Tad Stones worked on this?

First season only. Chuck Patton is replacing him for the second season.

It's a passion project by the guy who wrote the books, and he's having the hardest time funding everything himself.
It's why this second season has taken over two years.

What do you call furries if they're frogs? they have no fur. I've heard scalie before, but frogs don't have scales.

I'm curious if Heritage will be relevant.

There’s barely any frog porn to warrant a sub category

...

Is it suppose to follow the animated series or is it its own thing like the novel?

It's set after both.
It's very short and really only serves the purpose of setting up the Poison Scrolls plot hook.

Is the blue fros a grill?

bump

Was this show as cliched as it appeared?

I heard it got darker at the end of the season but even that sounded stale.

It starts out pretty cliche and generic, and the pacing is slow as hell. However at mid-point, the story shifts and gets darker. A lot of unexpected deaths and twists. The pacing goes a lot faster, though, and they cram in the plot of an entire season in the last three episodes or so.

It's still worth it, though. I enjoyed it more than the first season of, say, Trollhunters.

It's because he had a feeling it was going to take forever to get any one season made, so in order to be able to write new stories as soon as possible, he made the entire book trilogy fit into 13 episodes.
