why is Robert Smith there??

The Simpsons were supposed to be kind of below-average schmucks so the transformation of Marge into a sexpot is hilarious.

feed

>schmucks
you mean CHUCK'S right?
As in, Chuck's Feed and Seed?

watch the episode, was a wig.

Hop in, dude.

Mel's front view looks weird.

I distinctly remember Marge bragging about her 20-20-20 figure in one episode or another.

Now hold on

I don't even know what memes are, anymore.

Marge and the Church group need to raise money and they do it by counting cards at a casino.
Because its "against the rules", they need to disguise themselves to keep doing it.

This is a doubt I've always had, and who else with more expertise in comics and cartoons to answer it than Sup Forums?

So the simpsons' hair styles are supposed to look like a certain kind of hair equivalent in reality. Homer's "M and arcs" is an almost bald man, bart's spikes are a 10 year old's spiky hair, lisa and maggie's "star spikes", according to pic related, represent this kind of long-but-not-too-long hair.

Well, I never really understood what marge's weird hairdo is supposed to be like in reality. Exaggerated curly hair? educate me, Sup Forums.

I thought since they were like american family's in old tv shows it was a huge beehive hairstyle, exaggerated like a caricature

Also the hair originally was hiding rabbit ears, but that "plot twist" was long abandoned.

A disguise for bunny ears.

She was also mentioned to have webbed feet in one episode.

It's weird that the only reference to this was from the arcade game. I feel like it might've just been an inside joke because Groening had worked on Life in Hell.

Its a beehive, just exaggerated.
