Who was in the wrong here?

Everyone who wanted the first cinematic meeting between Batman and Superman to be a fight.

DC for thinking they can make movies like Based Marvel

And WB for letting them and then continuing to exist

thankfully after every one of their movies bomb this year we won't have to worry about either of those things happening anymore

Snyder.

>says increasingly desperate Mouseketeer for the tenth time today

Batman clearly. Batman's always wrong

Disney shill pls

Both of them are going about ignoring the letter of the law to mete out justice and save people.
Both of them are shown to be willing to fuck up or even kill people without a trial in their pursuit of "what's right".

So it's pretty contrived that they'd have a forced conflict because the other is in the same hobby.

Batman doesn't manage to save the life of every single civilian that crosses paths with the Joker, and Joker is just the Saddest Clown. Superman had collaterals fighting off a ship full of guys who were each capable of razing an entire region, with a weapon that could end all life. So it's kinda hypocritical for Batman to be triggered by the carnage.
(Also, Wayne could have given everyone a Family Day off for the possible end of the world).

Superman on the other hand is legitimately autistic in this universe, it's really not surprising how badly he mishandles this situation with Batman.

First post best post underrated toast

I get them having issues with one another at first, but I am sick and tired of this obsession with the two fighting when they meet. They're both on the same side of Justice, and they both want what is best for everyone.

Imagine a timeline where instead of Green Lantern, WB produces an adaptation of New Frontier, and does a reverse-Marvel by spinning off solo franchises afterward.

Frank Miller for ruining the friendship between Batman and Superman
Snyder for being a tryhard faggot
Nolan for indicating Snyder to Warner
DCucks who unironically defend this film

Ok Sup Forums, creativity time. You get to go back and redo a Superman/Batman movie. Remember, it does take place after MOS.

>Ever since the Zod fight, Clark has become more introverted from the world, relying on his Superman persona to keep him comfort
>Meanwhile, Batman has tracked down Killer Croc, who has been stealing rare materials, and Bruce follows his leads to Metropolis
>Many are considering Superman a hero, but others think he's a threat, namely billionaire Lex Luthor
>Luthor has been experimenting on fragments of Krypton from the destroyed Zod ships and irradiating them, using stolen materials
>Lex has hired Croc to retrieve rare devices and elements to perfect the experiments
>Lex, obsessed with power and fearing Superman's action to kill Zod, decides to find a way to kill Superman
>Batman find out that Lex is attempting to find a way to kill Supes, and eventually meets Clark and warns him
>Clark is hesitant and the two initially are not friends, but become repuctant allies, then friends
>Luthor reveals that he has been working on project METALLO, a way to preserve human brains, and decides that it's test subject will be powered by Kryptonite

>Clark has become more introverted from the world
Literally impossible unless he's moved into a dark cave and eating moss.

What would the fight have been like if supes had just swiped the canister away instead of catching it?

Making a good film out of BvS would be literally impossible, because MoS was horrible. MoS was supposed to start the DCEU, but it failed miserably at it. Lex Luthor should've been introduced in MoS, the idea that other heroes exist should've been introduced in MoS, the plot point for the Justice League should've been introduced in MoS. Instead, Hack Snyder wasted our time with overly long fights and pointless flashbacks.

fpbp as always.

Supes peeling Bruce out of the suit and forcing him to listen to what he has to say.

This post made me cry tears of agony and longing

Really, neither. Batman had a lot of anger over Metropolis and Superman was the only survivor out of the aliens so there's no one else for Bats to get mad at, and he's immensely more powerful then any other superhuman on Earth, and Bats wasn't even aware of the others at the time. Then Flash's time boom gives him a vision of a possible future, and Flash himself gives him a too-vague warning.

Combined with that, Luthor had been framing Superman for various deaths. Killing people in Africa then torching the bodies so it looks like they were killed by heat vision, and being in Africa it's not like anyone could just trot out a CSI team to see if it's true, bombing Congress to make it look like he killed everyone because they were trying to hold him accountable.

Then cap it off with giving Batman a chance to get a weapon that can hurt Superman while at the same time revealing to Superman he knows who he is and he has his mother, and will kill her unless he kills Batman, whom he has been goading and prepping already, and getting a trump card ready in the form of a monster you can throw at Superman as a beta test for using it to resist Darkseid, while at the same time satisfying his need to deny God existed, because if God was all powerful and all good, why would He let Lex's dad abuse him?

So in short, the Luthor everyone didn't like was really pretty well written but all Sup Forums cares about is two scenes where he fucks with people just to be a dick.

Superman can respond to Lois' distress on another continent.
It's rather convenient that he didn't flash-fry Luthor's head off and whirl over to rescue Martha.
It's also amazing that Luthor was able to find suicidal employees willing to hold a flamethrower to the face of the only person Man of Murder really loves.

And finally, no one has that big an issue with Luthor's actual PLOT, they have problem with Luthor being a cringy dork who stick Ranchers in other men's mouths and leaves jars of piss lying about.
And also that his motivation seemed to be the rejection of God, while working for Evil God, to create another god-level monster that no one could control.

tldr; BvS is still shit, and you're still an asshead for defending it.

It's convenient that SUPERMAN didn't kill someone, then fly off to rescue his mother when he didn't know where she is?

>suicidal employees
Throw enough money around, someone'll bite.

>cringy dork
>jolly rancher
>piss jar
Yeah, that would be the being a dick thing I already talked about.

tldr you're a contrarian cunt, BvS was fine, the only reason it had problems was trying to adapt a terrible Batman story and forcing in League setup because WB was trying to catch up to Disney.

WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME

Martha

>Superman is autistic
>Superman

Don't see superman using fully automatic turrets, and kryptonite fear gas to brutally murder a man when he asks to talk. You know, after said man keeps sparing and saving you.

>dismiss all valid criticism and only focus on the most juvenile bits of the post

BvSfags in a nutshell

>Throw enough money around, someone'll bite.
"So I have this plan to take down the Anti-Christ."
"We know he can supersonically fly to the other side of the planet, see through solid matter, and hear his girlfriend's frightened queefing all the way from the African continent."
"Oh and he's essentially indestructible, solid steel is like paper to him, he can move faster than you can blink, cut spaceships in half by looking at them, and possibly do some other stuff on that level, we just don't know."
"What I need you guys to do, is kidnap this guy's dear Mother. Take her to some location within a few miles of his main haunt, tie her up and hold a flamethrower to her face."
.....
"I'll pay double-overtime?"
