I’m a girl too but I love Red. I said “maybe you’re gay or something.” When you post here on Sup Forums where you can’t have a profile, you leave yourself open for people to make assumptions, but I didn’t even outright assume a definite, I just figured maybe there was a chance you were a gay man since I know a gay guy who hates characters like Red. Nothing personal.
Personally, I love Red in Red Hot Riding Hood particularly because that short is about as close as you can get to a classic 1940s cartoon short being a fable about the morals of consent. Also it’s fun, and she’s hot. I like that Red is an attractive feminine character who is still very in charge of herself, but not in a pretentious way like a lot of ‘strong independent womyn’ where the creators are trying too hard.
I’m not well acquainted with the Tom and Jerry movies. Aren’t they kind of recent? Wouldn’t you have to be underaged to have seen them as a kid?
I guess you’re entitled to have your own opinion if you don’t like her, but I still just don’t see it myself.
