2003

Pretty obvious.

1987 aged like milk with dozens of plot holes and animation errors
2012 has shit writing and by far the worst iterations of characters like Donatello, Michelangelo, Casey Jones, etc
2003 just wins by default

The sad part is that I'm not happy with the 2003 and was waiting for something better.

Because I was born in 95. I lived with the 2003 and I found it to be the norm, I cannot understand for the hell of me the 87 and 2012 eras.

Shows-2012 s5>2003>2012 s1-4> next mutation> 80s
Movies- 1990>2007>turtles forever>secret of the ooze>out of the shadows> turtles in time> michael bay> blast to the past
Comics-mirage>idw>image>archie

the one where april takes massive turtle dick

Casey jones was okay, I think 87 Casey jones or the movie was the worst.

>plot holes
It was a cartoon you fucking retard

2003

I guess the 2003 one but I like all of them for different reasons.

87 Casey Jones is fun though. He doesn't really have a character and is just going "laawbreaker" but it's fine with me.

The only problem 2003 has is bad voice-acting, because 4Kids and even that is mostly tolerable.

By the way, why does 2007 movie get so much shit?
I remember enjoying it a lot. Great cast, mostly alright story, character development.
Yet everyone keeps acting like it's the worst thing ever.

2012 is best because it actually had creators that gave a shit.
1987 is okay as a nostalgia trip. First 5 episodes are still pretty good. Rest is crap.
2003 is tryhard trash that was embarrassing even in 2003.

>The only problem 2003 has is bad voice-acting
voice acting was the least of its problems. Music was pretty terrible 4-kids crap, too. Animation was very stiff and generic. It was trying WAY too hard to shed the public image of the '87 show. It was trying to be cool and mature, but with a Y-7 rating, it kept having to pull its punches and it was really cringeworthy sometimes. It's really funny that the 2012 show did both a better job of being silly than the '87 show, and a better job of being grim than the 2003 show.

>By the way, why does 2007 movie get so much shit?
I can never remember until I rewatch it. It's just so fucking generic. The plot, while not terrible, is extremely forgettable. The characters are incredibly shallow. I mean, with most CGI kids movies, it's obvious that the writers don't give a shit and are just working for a paycheck, but this movie was super-flimsy on that front. It felt like the writers had no idea who the turtles were and only had a single sentence description of every character to work with. Also, the movie dares to presume that it takes place in the same continuity as the original live-action movie, which is the GOAT comic-book adaptation, so that automatically draws unfavorable comparisons.

2012 is the only one you could say is a "product of it's time"
But I still like 2003 more

>2003 is tryhard trash that was embarrassing even in 2003.
This. I have no idea why people love it so much, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills whenever it's discussed. I grew up on the '87 show, but it's not like I hate '03 because of nostalgia. Both shows are shit, but '87 has the excuse of basically just being a toy commercial. '03 is trying to be some bargain bin version of the Mirage comics, but it can't actually have death, swearing or blood so it's just laughably neutered. It's a shell of an embarrassment.

I rewatched 2003 so many times and I'm still like it. After rewatching 2012 I realized that it was shit. 1987 is just not my cup of tea.
I guess it's pretty obvious

1987 took itself completely unseriously, so of course autists on Sup Forums hate it

american voice acting back then was actually not embarrassing like it is these days

final fantasy XV

It was a tonal, imconsistent mess that succeeded at neither.

It was very story driven and had cool ideas like what they did with rat king and utrom shredder. The mirage adapted episodes were more of a reference/ easter egg than a 1:1 adaption. While i can see that the animation isnt the best the action wasnt to stiff in my opinion and the art style and charachter design was really good.

>Trademark infringement! How low can you get.
lol

2003=2012>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

u wot

A better question is who had the best:
>Leonardo
>Donatello
>Michelangelo
>Raphael
>Splinter
>Shredder
>April
>Casey
>Karai

Best Shredder is IDW or 2003.

If we don't talk about the comics 2003 had the best characters.

Best Splinter? Maybe the Nick cartoon?
