I think Trump played this very well.
We're on the verge of automating tons of the processes, making manufacturing in the chinkland pretty much unnecessary for 1st world countries.
So businesses can fairly easily return to their homeland, while slapping whatever extra costs there are on the product.
People will still pay for them.
So the manufacturing will definitely come back at some point, but is it going to bring the jobs back, well that's a whole another thing.

FUCK OFF CTR!!!

STOP WITH AUTOMATION MEME.

We can get the cost of fuel down so low that it can offset the extra manufacturing costs.

>considers

propaganda

The factories will look like pic. related.

So many jobs for Americans, yay!

Listen up, Sup Forums.

If meme magic is real, why can't we meme an universal basic income into existence?

Chinkland has no lack of innovation. It not just all manual, cheap labour. China's manufacturing industry is evolving to automation the same way it is in 1st world. Still a huge threat to US manufacturing unless you have state intervention

Someone has to build those robots.

That comes after the ethnostates.

Because people shouldn't be paid for doing nothing.

Is this really your answer? Have you thought this through?

1) What if automation comes to a level where it's simply impossible to find enough work for everyone?

2) What if everyone contributes to society all the time even in ways that aren't obvious? People write open source software all the time for no payment, in their free time, to give an example.

Right, they should work 6 hours a day tops, with more individual jobs, overtime being illegal or else massive fines. That's where basic income comes into play.

OK, makes sense.

>niggers write open source software
>or contribute to society

Killing other niggers is not contributing to the society

Why is bringing manufacturing back to the US a good thing?

HE ISNT EVEN IN FUCKING OFFICE YET.

GUYYYSSSS.
WHAAAAATTT ISSS HAAAPPEEENINNNGGGG?!

ARE WE WINNING?

>Ford moving production from Mexico to Ohio
>apple even considering moving to America
>markets going up across the board
>Obamacare to be repealed
>Republican executive, congress, house, and Senate

Holy fucking shit.

1) Not all of work comes from the manufacturing sector. Most of all people employed in developed nations work in the services or resource extraction. We aren't anywhere near to automating these sectors yet. Humans are and continue to be the most viable option.

2) Its true. People contribute to society in non-commercial ways all the time. That isn't to say that these voluntary acts are worth more than what is produced at a price.

Why wouldn't they do that?

Obviously it'll raise the costs of manufacturing, but then their consumers are already shelling out fortunes on devices that chinks themselves produce and sell for ~$€150. Last time I checked, they were buying a $300 book with pictures of Apple products whose pages are 99% white.

Next thing people are going to claim that buying iPhones is a patriotic thing to do as they spend $2,000 on the next model that is the same as the previous one save for a brand new revolutionary feature stolen from Windows Me's feature set.

No, basic income never comes into play because it goes far beyond what is demanded by the employed. We have unions and basic deliberation. People know how to stick up for themselves. We don't need the government to sink billions into a state sponsored NEET program. Fuck off

b/c of this thing called GDP and job creation

No, if anything, manufacturing will return to the US because of rising costs in China. The Chinese are coming out of their industrialization phase, they're starting to ask for more compensation to keep up their standards of living. The days of seat shops are over

>Estimates have suggested that the cost of assembling the iPhone in the US would only increase the cost of making the device by around $30 (£24), much of it in additional transportation.

Wait what? How does it cost more in transportation?

Because obviously illegal and foreign labour is cheaper, so they pay less money for salary. They can still use Mexican, so it's not on the green yet. Globalism is exploitation of planet for the profits of billionaires and not giving anything back.

China pretty much flipped its lid that Trump won after all the shittalking and threatened to hold shipping all those Iphones and apple products aka threatening rich jews bottom line.

Trump doesn't even have to do anything other than talk shit and its willed into being at this point

>why can't we meme an universal basic income into existence?

Because that is a really bad idea?

>universal basic income
Is that what they call welfare these days...

They're not going to build the fucking thing from scratch in America, obviously. That would require skilled workers. They're going to import a screen, a hard drive, a whatever, from their factories in china, get a minimum wage Mexican in California to stick them into a case.

JOBS JOBS JOBS

We are entering a new Golden Age, as fine and golden as Trump's glittering locks

Why is this automation such a huge topic lately?
Is not like it news...

Youre thinking of welfare and it doesnt work that well

>dude money for free
>implying blacks and mexicans and muslims wont go on murdering sprees trying to collect the most resources they can

youtube.com/watch?v=ZmnOJSUkjrA

It's inevitable, or you're going to have riots on your hands.

At the moment our long term unemployment rates are reaching new highs and there's simply not enough jobs to go by.
When you snap off the manufacturing and warehouse sector along with some office jobs that the automation takes, you're forced to have the basic income come into the picture.
It's already being tested here and will definitely be in use in the next 5 years.
Without it, you're looking at a whole lot of starving homeless people, who won't take it lying down.

It's huge because it's now coming at an increasing speed and everyone is taken by surprise by the extent of it.
Especially governments.
Our gov only recently even acknowledged the damn thing is happening and they're now thinking what should be done. UBI is coming, but they're not sure of the amount and how to really go about it.
Also this thing is going to cause an unprecedented societal change and it's going to end up creating a class of people, who might go through the rest of their lives doing jack shit.

Yeah, he has already brought a Ford plant in Mexico back to the US, in Ohio, too. I don't blame people for finding reasons to fall into doubt recently. Even Infowars wants to find ways to not believe it already, it seems. No one wants to get let down as we have so many times before. But just when I begin to question if this guy might not be for real, he does something else to reaffirm that he is the God Emperor.

> meme
Must be terrible living in a 3rd world country

Here come the gommies

I work near Detroit in a part of the automotive manufacturing sector. There has already been a slow and quiet return because what's economically smart in one decade can totally reverse. Companies are able to return here in part because we still have all these people who still have valuable skills. Somehow we did not get distracted by all the wonderful "service industry jobs" that were promised.
When Ford built a major manufacturing plant in Mexico in the near past -- my friend's mother was actually a supervisor sent there to train Mexicans -- they broke one American's job into eight Mexican joblets. They still fucked everything up. It was more expensive, more time-consuming, more risky.
There never was one case of one third worlder doing the exact same job as one American, as well, but for less money. That never happened. Most globalization was the opposite of free trade. It was massive mercantilist cartel manipulation, the public and private sectors colluding on a national scale to dishonestly out-compete a targeted rival with no comparable support. Imagine any one corporation competing against an illegal combination of governments, nominal competitors who are actually in on it, and laws written by lobbyists. Check out the book Factory Man for more about this: an American furniture manufacturer got a Chinese to admit that they were dumping (eating a loss on dishonest pricing in exchange for market share), and the Chinese not only admitted it but went on to say, and that's exactly why you should give up and join us. Nobody competes against one Chinese factory. China's manufacturing policy is nonviolent warfare, with the entire nation, government and industry unified against one American company at a time. If it was a fair fight, it wouldn't be a fight.

Anthony back on radio soon?

There's still jobs in an automated factory. I work in an industry that is automating and I'm not worried about my job.

Any work created by moving factories here will be a net increase and money will be saved bigly by removing international freight for the American market.

>and there's simply not enough jobs to go by.
Because they've all be shipped to other countries you idiot.

Your shitty basic income idea will only create even more fucking welfare leeches.

Go be a dirty commie somewhere else.

why did you post a picture of a tunisian backalley knife fighter

This guy gets it. Trump is not a visionary who wants a revolution, he is embracing something that is giving every sign of already happening, and which the lazy elites think they can ignore or delay. It costs a lot of money to ship something across the Pacific. Chinese manufacturing is only competitive if it can circumvent that expense.

And then Darth Sorrows will crash the global economy, with no survivors.

Slov is right
The difference between welfare and UBI is that welfare is designed to prevent failure, whereas UBI accepts that some people just budget worse than others. Want a realistically free market? Stop restricting EBT to food, or housing funding to housing. Let niggers buy cars and starve.

Plus, wouldn't giving everyone a set amount of money be a shitload easier and involve less paperwork than having people individually apply for 5 different programs? If people want to reduce regulations, replacing current welfare bureaucracy with something simple seems like a good plan

It doesn't mean a thing if there's still jobs in an automated factory.
One of our central food redistribution warehouses was half automated a while ago.
They went from 1500 to 700 people.
Those unskilled food packers are now in the unemployment line and it doesn't mean shit if there's still jobs in that factory, there wasn't a new one built to acommodate them. They simply lost their jobs.
You don't need to have 100% of the population unemployed for things to go shit.
It's enough that you have +30% of the population in the unemployment line and you're looking at a whole class of people who are fucked.

So you're saying that all first world countries will have jobs for absolutely everyone, if all industries return to their original nations?
Bull fucking shit.
And even if by some miracle you were right, you'd still be looking at vastly automated manufacturing processes used in those undustries.
You're probably living in the current moment, thinking that there's enough work to go by, but think 10 years in the future.
We're going to be in a totally different situation then and hell of a lot more processes are going to be done by bots and algorithms.
You can scream "COMMIE COMMIE!" all you want, but you don't have a solution for securing the welfare of the masses of unemployed.
UBI is the place to start, it simply has to be there in one form or another or you're fucked.

It kinda is
but let them starve or kill each other after spending all their neetbux on crack. What's wrong with giving them personal responsibility and seeing them fail?

Expect the prices to double lol

He just smiles in this shot. Normally his eyes aren't that narrow.
Pretty good documentary by the way.
Required watching if you're interested in Chyna's overtaking of Afrika and gravel trucks.

>MEME
Robots exist and they're going to take yer jerb. Yeah, meme. Meme magic.

Expect normalfags to buy them anyways

holy shit that dude in red looks like a chick.

>Plus, wouldn't giving everyone a set amount of money be a shitload easier and involve less paperwork than having people individually apply for 5 different programs?

Yes, it is. That's why we're doing it.
We already have a form of UBI in place, as in you can just flat out stop working if you want and get money.
Main problem is that it's under tons of bureaucracy and it also prevents people from making money, because any income gets deducted from that welfare.
So part time jobs are out of the question.
It's a problematic situation, because it doesn't make any sense for people to work over here, if they make under 1400€ a month.
You're going to get around 800€ a month anyways without doing shit. Even more if you have some special expenses.
Niggers exploit the shit out of this system and make thousands per month.
UBI would allow people to enter working life at any income level, while still having a secured amount of money coming in.
It's beneficial for everyone. Gov gets more tax income from people working part time jobs, there's less money spent on the bureaucratic mess of a welfare system and niggers can't exploit the set in stone kind of a system.
It only sounds intimidating of a system, but it's better than anything we currently have in place.

>mfw Trump brings manufacturing back and just automates it all

I never could have imagined Trump would win so much so quickly, I feel like CTR rn.

This is great though

iPhones made in America means the price will skyrocket by default, automation or no automation

More expensive iPhones = fewer dumbass kids/liberal hippies owning iPhones. I'm perfectly okay with this.

Sent from my iPhone

>More expensive iPhones = fewer dumbass kids/liberal hippies owning iPhones. I'm perfectly okay with this.
This guy gets it.

Welfare programs, in reality and as a rule, are political machine recruitment operations. That is what they are. I understand that you have something different in youf dreams. I understand that your projections are based on a notional situation in which welfare programs are managed intelligently. But welfare programs are never managed intelligently. You are being impractical and so the mathematical success of your model is meaningless because it will never translate into reality. Welfare programs are political machine recruitment operations.

Who are the Apple fanatics who waited in line for the latest iPhone because of its price?

How many kids probably got iPhones for Christmas last year? And the 7-8 years before that? How many parents will be willing to spend thousands of dollars on their kids every Christmas?

Apple isn't going to move their production if it costs them to that degree

>Apple considers making iPhones in America
>HE'S ACTUALLY DOING IT

Nah, iPhone sales will just drop dramatically; as a result, MacBook sales will increase to make up the difference, which isn't a huge deal IMO seeing as it's pretty difficult to fit a laptop in your pocket.

this!

adidas opened a speed factory in germany soon they produce shoes in germany and america.

Apple was considering this move years ago because the number of Chinese counterfeits no outnumber the actual iphones in the world.

Reminder.

>Liberals hate this

Why the excessive use of "welfare programs" though? This was a hard post to read.
