You ever wonder if people these days even remember if COME ON AND SLAM, "Fly Like an Eagle" and "I believe I can fly" even came from Space Jam?

(This soundtrack is so fucking high quality for a movie like this)

So was the animation really
There needs to be a word for a movie thats completely insane from conception to execution but people clearly put a ton of time and effort into it.

Buggin' is so fucking cheesy I highly recommend everyone listen to it.

Hit Em High is also unbelievably good, this film had so much effort behind it despite being a horrible idea.

I do. I remember "I Believe I Can Fly" became a meme on the playground shortly after the film came out.

Six times platinum, man. Six times platinum.

helps that Jay-Z wrote it

Greetings Earthlings, we have now taken over your radioooooooooo

The only bad song on this album is the version of Basketball Jones that just had Chris Rock screaming random things over Barry White's smooth voice.

>Fly Like an Eagle
Comes from the late 70s

the cover was made for the movie which is what OP meant

Remember that time when Biker Mice from Mars had its own Gone Jackals' style album?

I got shot by the FBI

I believe I can fart

>The film was produced by Ivan Reitman, and directed by Korey Coleman.
>Korey Coleman
Did wikipedia not fix this yet?

All I wanted was a chicken wing

>there's a Trump reference in Buggin
Jesus fucking christ this stuff gets weird after a certain number of permutations.

But they shot me in the dingaling

He was referencing it the other day on the Double Toasted podcast, joking how "he was the most important person on the set" when all he did was animate shadows for Tweety for one scene yet was still credited for the movie

>Like Trump's wife, up to my ears in carats
wut

Something about getting shot by the FBI?

Fly Like an Eagle is a song from The Steve Miller Band. The song was around a decade old before Space Jam was in production.

I BELIEVE I CAN FLY

BUT I WAS SHOT BY THE FBI

ALL I WANTED WAS A POPSICLE

NOW I'M SPENDING 48 HOURS IN THE HOSPITAL

I really can't believe the artists they got for this soundtrack. Like if it was just a Michael Jordan thing or something yeah, but it was MJ and Looney Toons on a movie version of some popular sneaker commercial. But shit, R. Kelly and Jay-Z were like sign me the fuck up

Former child here. Can confirm this.

The names involve in this was shocking really.

Even Dan Aykroyd was in it.

>yfw this

Trump's orange dick

>The villain team has more charisma than the heroes.
Monstars won in my book.

If Mel Blanc had been alive I think it would have been better for the Tunestars

warnerbros.com/archive/spacejam/movie/jam.htm

It's still here

(okay, unfortunately, it's been cheated. WB eventually noticed it was still around and changed the URL so it can be archived) but it's still here dammit

I contend the only reason people care about Space Jam is because of the soundtrack

where is that ahegao from?

Nah, it's because it's one of the biggest pieces of 90s nostalgia.

Also Lola

Some Shindol work, I think.

what did they mean by this?

I'm pretty sure

>carat=measure of purity of gold
Also a pun because he's a bunny

>MJ of course
>Barkley, Ewing and the other pros that the Monstars stole talent from
>Danny Divito as thier dick boss
>Newman at the height of his Seinfeld fame
>fucking Bill Murray out of nowhere
Then you got shit like with all of the biggest rap stars of the day dropping verses about cartoon characters playing basketball. The 90s were a witches brew of crazy ass shit

>Shindol
>tfw to vanilla for him
his art makes me diamonds but his stories just kill my boner I just can't fap it

but this one doesn't look to bad thanks bro

no problem.

there's a sequel to it that's even more vanilla, as in, only deepthroating.

Fly Like an Eagle was a cover.

That's kind of how every Basketball Jones version goes. And I like it.

The one for Cool World is pretty fucking boss. Industry & Seduction by Tom Bailey is pure oral ear sex

Hackers, though not Sup Forums related, has be my favorite film soundtrack of all time

The original was a Cheech and Chong song

This is the one I remember the most, grew up in Houston in the 90s.

The Basketball Jones scene in Space Jam legit made me sad. Poor Chuck.

>.........I'll never go out with Madona again
Forgot just how fucking toxic she became for a while back in the day.

beautiful

Yeah but...Chris Rock is great but his voice doesn't belong anywhere near music.

Fuck
How did this spread so far?

Heaven's Gate

>Dan Aykroyd
Fucking nice

90s kids never shut the fuck up about shit from their childhood. This shit trends on social media whenever it's on.

I can't imagine how young or old you are to not know this.

You do realize Trump was popular back then too right? You cant be this fucking retarded

Anglofag here, can confirm we had some variation of this in England too.

Batman Forever was another WB movie released around the time that had an incredible soundtrack, I think it's just that somebody at WB Records was on top of their game in the mid-90s.

*Mid 70s

As a non-Anglo it was my first time hearing Chris Rock's voice back then and it was one of my favorite tracks. I didn't even understand most of what he was saying.

KINO

I remember "I believe I can soar -- I got eaten by a dinosaur" or something like that.

I have "Fly Like an Eagle" and "I Believe I Can Fly" downloaded on my phone. They're great songs.

I listen to them even more now since the Eagles won the Super Bowl

Grew up in Austin at the same time, havent thought about this rhyme since I moved in 2002. Immense fuckin nostalgia.
