John's and Jurgens runs were both good. Giffens was a bit shit though.
Generation Lost was hampered by Wonde Woman's stupid change in status quo at the time and the fact the nu52 meant it never got the planned follow up JLI.

Check out his Convergence two parter and also skim the Conference book. But it makes a lot more sense to read these AFTER reading It makes less sense if you don't read the stuff before and immediately after, as well as some on-going stuff. And while Booster is significant, it's not really necessary to read. I'm glad I read it, but I'd never bother re-reading it or recommend it to anyone.

His 2008 ongoing started really strong with 52 Pick-Up (Johns' best work imo) and stayed pretty strong up until it ended with Flashpoint. After that, you're gonna want to grab the Futures End one-shot and the Convergence 2-parter where pre-New 52 Booster changes to Waverider? which thankfully seems to have been retconned.
Generation Lost is dope, I suspect Giffen had more to do with the plotting than the credits tell, considering it's the only Winick book that doesn't suck. And the WW thing actually works pretty well given that the same thing happens to her that happens to Max Lord. Pity the New 52 fucked us out of a proper JLI reboot.

This is acceptable. Vivid should literally make a JLI porn, they're into semi-obscure characters and there's SO much sexual tension right there in the books. I'm actually bummed that Fire/Oberon didn't carry over after JLI ended. They were a cute couple and Fire's an underrated character.
