You're welcome. Sorry I'm not uploading them faster. I'm working while storytiming it.

So, Jughead is a werewolf, Veronica is a vampire, so what will Betty be?

The Invisible Woman.

This is't part of the zombie story, right?

I like this unvampironically.

I think it's rather part of the "Jughead is a werewolf and is being hunted by Veronica" comic thing.

That's it, you guys. It was my first time storytiming a comic so I hope you liked it and thanks for your patience!

Thanks for the storytelling, bump for others

I know this will probably be only 6 issues over 2 years but it's good so far

No, dude, thanks for taking the effort to storytime it.

I like this the art is cool and making veronica a main in her own story is pretty neat.

Loving it so far, thanks!

>Ronnie the Vampire Slayer

>Vampironica
>Zombie series
>Sabrina
>Jughead werewolf
Am I missing any?

Solid enough Buffy-esqe book... Greg's really killing it on the art front

A Gillwoman, perhaps? "Betty Blooper?"

A mummy? Frankenstein's monster?

or it could just be it's own thing

Perhaps a Scanner-styled psychic that'll make your head explode for daring to think about stealing her Archie.

Carrie

Needs to be a classic horror monster

says who?

To fit in with vampire and werewolf

Betty is a monster Hunter in Jughead: The Hunger.

Veronica continues to be best girl.

Separate continuity, presumably.

>Riverdale
Oh shit, I thought this was an original

>smartphones
Neat. It's modern but without feeling awkward.

thank you for informing me of that since I'm still mad that Afterlife with Archie isn't going to finish.

Jughead is a werewolf?

>taking Ronnie out
>has a jag, is attractive
>Archie drives a broken-down deathtrap, is about average in looks
>she still wishes she was with Archie over Reggie
I don't think Reggie's ego could take a hit that size

Pretty good with nice art.

this desu

Awwww poor Ronnie.

So, what do you think becomes of Sabrina here? Offed early on, or survives to Deus Ex Machina the problems away?

Pretty good for your first time user.

I think she's a "wants what she can't have" type of girl.

Who the fuck buys all these Archie comics? They make more Betty & Veronica comics then Spiderman ones these days.

Maybe? Veronica was a vampire in that story too if I recall

How did she die in the others?

I recall a mention that Sabrina was an early casualty of the Predator crossover, and the whole thing with the Archie Zombies had her banished to the Witch Realm for accidentally starting the zombie crisis and so she couldn't do anything to help (at least directly).

I thought Betty is the one hunting werewolf Jughead

forcibly married to Cthulu in Afterlife

What?

Also killed by sharks in Sharknado crossover

In that case, it has to be Frankenstein or the Mummy.

Yeah, I've noticed that Sabrina tends to be the first one to die or otherwise vanish if they want to emphasize that the story's not going to be pleasant. No teenage witchery to get Riverdale out of the deep shit that's about to go down.

also accidentally caused her dad to possess her boyfriend's corpse in Chilling Adventures

OK that was fast

Smallwood's art would be perfect for JLD if DC could get a nonshit premise and a nonshit writer

Wasn't she just converted in a werewolf by Reggie? Is this a different timeline? Can we have a crisis on infinite archies?

Already did crisis with "Life with Archie".

All the Horror books are part of a standalone line. Although they could fall under different reality shinnagins as the Sabrina book has her reference memories of her Afterlife counterpart.

So...did they just give up on Afterlife?

Francavilla is probably too busy working on other stuff.

by the looks of his tumblr, other stuff appears to be somewhere between "fuck" and "all"

>"So is she a slayer of vampires, or a vampire who slays?"
>"...yes?"

I fucking love all of Archie's Horror inprint, what ever happened to Afterlife With Archie and Sabrina tho? Are they permanently on hiatus or did they end without me noticing?

No, Veronica is also a werewolf in that story, she gets turned by Reggie and joins him hunting for Jughead

These are separate continuities

I'm pretty sure Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is what's holding them up. Shooting up the company ladder and working on the TV shows seems to have left him little time for Afterlife and Sabrina. I don't know why he just doesn't either bring on co-writers or replacement writers for those books. It's not like his writing was anything special. The art was the most stand-out thing about Afterlife and Sabrina.

I reslly like Veronica and Reggie together for some reason.

Why is everything Archie and spooky so good?

Creature From Black Lagoon?

Juxtaposition of Classic Americana with Nightmarish Horror.

A shit? Wait, that's just ordinary Betty.

Fucking hell this was great. I can't wait for the next issue!

thanks op, godspeed

i was typing that, but you said it in a better way...

The characters fall into comfortable archetypes that make them pretty elastic and easy to frame out there premises around.

I'm surprised there hasn't been an Archie in Vietnam book.

OP dun good this day.

Uh oh, looks like Reggie is falling in with a bad crowd.

I don’t even know what this but it’s hot

I will fite U.

nice spot!

i can't get over how good the art is. never seen anything like it

Never read an Archie comic. Are Veronica and Betty rivals or something?
