Attached: Screenshot_20180228-224150.jpg (2960x1440, 2.53M)

I'm also very jealous of your hellblazers. I need more money.

Attached: Screenshot_20180228-224111.jpg (2960x1440, 2.59M)

I need a real shelf

Nice sandman omnis. I still cant decide if I should get the omnis or the absolutes.

War of Kings omni! Have you read the prelude and aftermath? Well worth it

Really don't mean to be ann ass, but doid you enjoy Kick-Ass beyond the first volume?

Fuck, I literally have no space for my comics and just stack them in my room.

Reposting last week's to keep the thread alive on a slow Saturday.

I sadly got the same situation.
Floppies you need to box or paperbacks that overflow your shelves.

Those are the next two omnis im buying. Im waiting until I have them all so I can read them. I've only read the Annihilation books.
I just hope i can get them soon before they go away.
I'm going to Wondercon next week so hopefully I can find them and other stuff on my wishlist for cheap

I own one absolute and it made me want to buy all of them.
They are FUCKING NICE and you will never regret buying one.
When I can afford it im doing the sandmans and the green lantern ones

I'm getting the absolutes then

No new books for a few months, until my birthday.

If you're near an Ikea, shelves like mine are £12 a pop, and I'd imagine something equivalent where you are.

Oh yes, It's getting together the £300 to throw at Gaiman that's the problem.

Attached: Shelf2edit.jpg (1440x2560, 1.77M)

Well, my cellphone died so no new photos in a while.

There´s a lot I like, a lot I havent read. If you like it then its a prefectly ok shelf.

Yes I need a new copy of watchmen, is the absolute still in print? if not, what would be the best way to ge it?

huh, didnt notice earlier you had two copies of ASS, I can see why, Absolute ASS is damn nice.

Attached: Shelf 02 Dic 2017.jpg (3200x1200, 460K)

That is a nice row of Hellblazer. Do you think you'll continue collecting them even though the next creative teams aren't that great?

He's already passed the shitty Ellis and Azz runs.

Yeah, but there are about to start reprinting Mina/Diggle/Milligan

my recent purchases

Attached: s-l1600.jpg (1459x1600, 536K)

i bought these then I found out they had deluxe paperbacks.... looks like someone is getting gifted atomic robo

Attached: s-l1600c.jpg (1499x810, 180K)

an oldie but a favorite

Attached: s-l1600e.jpg (1064x1600, 382K)

not op but the 2nd book was 50/50 and the 3rd book was pretty much a huge copout of an ending which felt rushed, the only reason i own them is because i had a giftcard for amazon and nothing else really fit in the limit of the card

promo convention hand out with idw ghostbusters on it.

Attached: s-l1600d.jpg (986x1436, 148K)

the franchise is dead but i'm still collecting it

Attached: s-l1600f.jpg (1280x864, 76K)

why is this thing out of print but the one before it and the one after it is still being sold.

Attached: s-l1600g.jpg (1200x1600, 265K)

Someone has a hard on for Kirby.

No regrets.

All I want in life is to make enough money to afford all the books I want and enough shelf space to put them on

don't we all

I can afford them, but I'm starting to run out of space.

I have finally rearranged my shit. Cleared a bunch of blu-rays off a shelf and moved all my indie books there.

There's like one shelf worth of books missing from this which are in another city at the minute since I work away from home during the week.

i can also afford them and yes i'm running out of space too... what do we do?

Buy a bigger apartment/house, of course
Or convert more walls into shelves

You Irish?

Oops never posted the other half.

Nice

This week's pull list.
I officially have no self control around horror comics.
I just see a #1 of a new horror comic and go "if I don't get it now I might regret it."
And then I get behind on my reading and end up to issue 3-4 without reading a single one of them.

Sick Vertigo collection, you even stopped collecting Fables before it went downhill 10/10

i was thinking about starting the series since i enjoyed the game, does it really get bad after volume 3?

Attached: Meshelf2.jpg (4032x3024, 2.45M)

what's the onipress book? SHHANIE?

>That black and white image

Hold up a minute, nig. Are you that guy who used to come into the /hyw/ threads, posting his comic about the ghost planets, or whatever?

Seems to still be in print, it's at the typical price on Amazon UK, anyway. I've heard the Deluxe is pretty nice too, if you can't get hold of he Absolute.

The trade ASS is just the first half of the story. I was going to pick up Vol.2, but then saw the Absolute and decided why not. I'm just going to give away/sell the Vol.1.

I wish the Atomic Robo collections were hardback, but I'm just picky. They do look good though.

Oh, the finest collection. The finest.

See also - My continued envy of anyone who managed to pick up all four of the BPRD Plague of Frogs hardbacks, because they went OOP after I'd bought the first two, the bastards.

SharkKnife Vols. 1&2

I prefer the paperbacks. I don't think the hardcovers do anything special but include multiple volumes. And by god, separate arcs should be in separate books.

BTW, that old west one on the far left, Knights of the Golden Circle I think, is actually worth SOME money on the after market. It was the last Red 5 volume, and I guess it had a smaller print run than most.

>Silver Star

I may be slightly erect. Shame it never had a final issue. At least the hardcover collection comes with the film treatment, so there is a conclusion of sorts.

General consensus is that it dips in quality after issue 75ish. That was the end of the pre planned main story arc. After that they were kind of spitballing. Some think it's still good enough to ride to the end, some wish the later half never saw print.

The art is consistently great, so I enjoy it on that level.

Tell yourself this, because I am too: The paperback omni's will match the upcoming Hellboy paperback omni's on your shelf much better than the hardcovers.

>paperback better than hardcovers
is he having a laugh?

Hey friend, are the Annihilation, War of Kings, etc omnibus's in proper reading order? Or do they do that absolutely retarded thing where they put all tie in issues in the back, even though that's not how you read it, and they were just about all written by two people anyway?

Pretty sure all of it is in chronological order.

Jokes aside, I think hardcovers are a bit pointless for anything trade sized. There's just no bonus. They weigh more and turning pages can be a bit annoying.

What's the plus?

Infidel was some good shit, nice choice.

you can open them up to the edges without worrying about creasing the spine, they don't fall down as easily and they look better on the shelf

Son I know how to cradle a spine. I've never had a spine crease on a comic book collection.

And counterpoint to the fall down thing: You can fit more paperbacks on a shelf than you can hardcovers.

Never felt they looked better if packed on neatly either.

God damn this is beautiful

Noice
I should get around to some physicals of webcomics I like. Show them some love.

I've learned that no good webcomic EVER finishes. I don't like putting things I think will never have an ending on my shelf. Shitsucks, a few are good. One day I hope I guess.

It's a nice story

Not only that, You are beautiful

I have news on what is going on right now on a mex comicon dont know if any of you want to hear.

Needs more Gundam ZZ

Are the contents of The Flintstones translated? I wonder how well it interprets the humor.

Yes they are, I say it translates just enough, of the top of my head cant remember a play on words that sticks out. What cracks me up is that the "DC Aventuras" line is mostly for kids to buy and this book may end up to some kids asking: "What is Genocide?"

It's on the list but anime box sets are super expensive. Got those Gundam ones for cheap at a con.

i hate how much we get fucked on blu-rays, i want to get assassination classroom season 2 and it's like £90 for both parts, animelimited should be castrated

OP here

I think the absolutes might be better if you're reading them outside of home. That was probably the biggest thing for me, since I never wanted to take the omnibus to a park or something to read because it cost so much.

I liked them when I read them, but they were also some of the first books I bought so maybe my tastes were shit back then.

I think I might as well, there'll only be like 3-4 books left after what I've got.

Try looking around offices and libraries around tax time, since they'll upgrade their furniture. My bookshelf I got for free just because my local library wanted to get more metal bookshelves, and I'd asked them to call me if they were ever gettin rid of any.

Isn't it though.

That is a very comfy pic. I approve of shelf threads including comic reading/enjoyment images.

>I've learned that no good webcomic EVER finishes.
I call bullshit, Riceboy being a perfect example. Sure the artist started (and finished) other stories more or less in the same setting, but Riceboy is a cohesive story that had a clear ending.

>I should get around to some physicals of webcomics I like.
Do it.

I have very few webcomic physical copies, all of which I bought from creators at cons. The riceboy artist is cool. I kind of want to get his illustrated version of the wizard of oz.

Infidel and Del Duca shit, you did good.

>Come Into Me
That cover has me WTF-ing. Care to share?

You should leave this board

Nice on the Flintstones. Flintstones was unexpectedly good. Good cultural satire that was surprisingly topical and left-leaning.

Sorry senpai. I thought I had with that first one.

Glad you checked yourself. 2/3.

Before I wrecked myself.

All that rebirth reminds me of the guy years ago who had every first volume of the new52

It's all good.

I wish they would implement some small window that previews the uploaded image prior to posting. Would be a helpful feature.

You're a definitely a little riggity, but not totally wrecked.
