Yeah, there was a long stretch of it being nothing but romantic shenanigans. It was shit.
The early stories and some one-shots were more all over the place, with lots of parodies and shonen ideas. Fighting witches, becoming Power Rangers, crossover with Ozamu Tezuka characters, that kind of thing.
And then there's one author doing his own eldritch horror saga that is pretty fucking great.
Sadly she doesn't use the plush rabbit in the manga, and seems to forget her superstrenght half the time.
Really shit teen romance drama. Like they did the Monica Jimmy Five romance early but then some writer decided they wanted their own pairing, then there was a lot of will they won't they, love triangle, soap opera bullshit.
