What if there was no Alfred, and instead, after his parent's death, young Bruce Wayne is adopted and raised by the Clarks?

That's been done.

Alfred freely admits that he didn't give Bruce the correct emotional support to stop him from becoming The Batman. If Bruce was raised by the Kents he probably would've gotten over his parents deaths as well as one can, and just become a morally upright farmboy while he waited for his trust fund to mature.

Afterwards he probably wouldn't turn into the playboy socialite he pretends to be, the Kents would've raised him too well for that. He might've still ended up as The Batman, but he wouldn't be quite the same Terror of the Night kind of guy.

What story?

>the Clarks
the who's?

how broken would he be if he gets turned into a double orphan?

two sets of parents, same outcome (mugging deaths).

Wasn't there already an elseworld where that was the case?

I remember the one that was just the opposite, Speeding bullets. The Waynes find baby Kal-El and they still get killed in a alley before he maims or kill the attacker (can't remember).

Give him to the Allens then

So do the Kents still find Clark in this universe?
Do they grow up as brothers?

bruce becomes some sort of cursed child.

every happy dc couple that adopts him dies.

>bruce gets the garricks killed.
>darkseid and suli adopt him, same thing happens (now with kalibak gunning for him too).

How would a couple of small town Kansas farmers end up adopting an orphaned East Coast billionaire?

Isn't there literally a comic about this? In fact, isn't your OP pic from said comic?

The hands of destiny made them adopt a baby from a planet lightyears away.

No there isn't, you're thinking of Speeding Bullets. And the OP pic is from Secret Origin. Everything you said was wrong.

I'd read that. I wonder how Bruce would aid his brother? Would he still Become a vigilante or would the temperament of the Kents and Clark lead him to be a more philanthropic individual.

Would Clark just be Clark Kent the lead Officer of Wayne Corp Global Assistance.

Helping folks with billionaire backing and infrastructure.

Like Batman Inc but BIGGER.

I'd be interesting.

old money billionaire. grew up on a farm, with mid-west values.

He would be President of the United States.

>he thinks i actually read comics

Superman remains Superman and Bruce takes up Law like his grandfather.

Becomes an ace defense attorney and works his way up to the White House.

Would his visions of world peace start to clash with his brother.

Well I owe some apologies. There IS a story just like that. Storytime.

Everyone here is saying that Bruce would have turned out alright under the Kents.
You're all wrong. Bruce would have been even more twisted.

Bruce's near autistic refusal to get over his parents death would still remain even among the Kents. Except, while Alfred, through his inaction, tacitly accepted Bruce's pursuit of justice/vengeance, the Kents would have shamed him.
"Turn the other cheek"
"Forgive and forget"
"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind"

Bruce would still be fully of vengeance and hate. But he would be explicitly told that it's wrong. It would become taboo and lumped in other kinds of sin.
In for a penny, in for a pound, right?

It's like how sexually repressed people become the most perverted after being released from their confines.
Bruce Kent would be filled with the same amount of hate and resentment and refusal to let go.
But now it'd be mixed up with the same and guilt of not living up to his adopted parents ideals.

Shame and guilt are nearly as powerful motivators as vengeance. And now they're all twisted together.
Hide your pets, folks.

When Superman says "Martha," Batman will realize they have the same adoptive mother and they are step-brothers.

I got a better one. What if Supes as a baby, instead of landing with the Kents, he'd land with the Luthors. What would happen then?

And that's that. Pretty cool.
I'd love to see it updated with more recent aspect of their origins.

If Lex being Lex is due to nurture, then Supes would be Emperor of the World. And Lex himself would be his strongest support, or still his most hateful archenemy.

You can't tell Clark Kent is Superman because he vibrates his face really fast or something. And glasses.

>while I have to restrain myself and get only good grades to keep from being suspected as Superboy
Wait, did Silver Age Superman have super-intelligence as a superpower?

Every incarnation of Superman is super-intelligent. It just doesn't come up in most stories because they hire retards to write this garbage.

>Did Silver Age Superman have Super-X as a superpower?
Yes.
The answer to any X is yes.

Not exactly super-intelligence in the normal sense. But he can think at superspeeds and had a perfect memory
