Vigilante, obviously.
Can't wait to hang out with best boy

Shameless self bump, but upon watching the trailers a second time, I picked up on something disappointing. It looks like the two paths share a ton of similarities like the Joker having henchmen (despite being a vigilante in one route) and Gordon in danger.

So it looks like the people who think he's going to be evil no matter what may be right.

I think the henchmen might belong to Harley
I think the similarities will be things having to do with Waller and the Suicide Squad

I hope so. I promised myself that TWAU2 was going to be the last time I'd let myself get jewed by Telltale, but then this came along.

>I never meant to hurt you, John
Fuck you, Bruce. Seriously.

>The only way to fight John is by going the Villain end

Boo. I don't wanna get Harley romantically linked to John but I wanna kick his ass

So
>villain
>hurt, comfort
>vigilante
>W.A.F.F.

All I know is that I put in careful work to have Selina loyal to Bruce 100% to the point where she's a regular in the Batcave. I swear, if I see a collar on her I'm going to scream.

But, everyone wants to discuss John. I did do a lot of heavy lifting to keep him on the straight and narrow while being a supportive friend. Him in that funhouse almost ruined it, but I forgave what he did for the sake of a new direction. I'm interested to see if I'll have to put a well meaning dog down...

>You have to do it, Batman. You have to rape the Joker. The city's counting on you. It's the only way.

Selina is collared in both routes so I'm assuming it's just one of those certainties no matter how you treat her. It's just one reason why I'm so skeptical that this episode will really be that branching.

I'm hyped. Vigilante all the way, John is 100% right about Waller and co.

>inb4 he was evil all along

How the hell are Bane, Harley, and Catwoman working for Waller in the vigilante version? More proof John was right about her.

I liked that Joker's henchmen in the Vigilante version looked like down on their luck street folk, while the Villain henchmen looked like murderous criminals.

Also, what's up with that Harley henchman who looks like Green Arrow? The trailer must have focused on his face for a reason. You can also briefly spot him in the villain trailer, one of the thugs holding Wayne Co.'s board hostage, the only one not wearing a clown mask.

The trailers convinced me that he will be. Fucking Telltale.

>youtube.com/watch?v=3_1Hx1wqdaQ
I just want this

>How the hell are Bane, Harley, and Catwoman working for Waller in the vigilante version? More proof John was right about her.
She Suicide Squad'd them. They're wearing explosive collars.

>Also, what's up with that Harley henchman who looks like Green Arrow?
That's Frank, an ancillary character from season 1 I think who gained meme status with the autists on the Telltale forums who shitposted enough to get Telltale to bring him back.

The bald dude from the bar in episode 2 of this season joins John in both versions as well.

Only one right way to play

You got that right, friend-o

Is there an AU comic where Bruce grows up to become Joker, and Batman becomes the Joker of their universe?
I feel like such a swap would be a great idea to use.

The fuck is wrong with Vigilante Joker's head? It looks like his forehead is caved in and expands outwards like a mushroom.

>What Joker are you getting?
The not gay one. If it's even possible.

I like you, user

Attached: dynamic duo.gif (365x205, 2.93M)

>"your choices really matter this time, guys, it's our most ambitious episode yet with two totally different paths!"
>meanwhile the Joker has minions in both paths which indicate that you fight him in both
>he acts transparently sinister at the end of the vigilante trailer
>Gordon is kidnapped in both
You're not fooling me again, Telltale. Thank God I didn't buy this shit.

He's trying to have a Batman-sequel silhouette

You can tell which one Telltale had a blast designing and which one they didn't know what the fuck to do with.

Villain obviously

Yes

Attached: RCO008.jpg (1988x3056, 888K)

>Villain
>Gordon is kidnapped to force batman out
>Vigilante
>Gordon is kidnapped to protect him from Waller

>That slow focus on how Vigilante!John wraps his arm around Batman's waist
Gay. GAY. Even villain Joker acts like a jilted lover good lord.

sourse please

Because his hairline is for some weird reason higher in the vigilante version which makes the shape look weirder.

This could have all been avoided if they didn't give him such a stupid hairstyle. I get what they're trying to do but it's so badly executed.

Just read all the Earth-3 focused minis.

Attached: 485635_original.jpg (1280x814, 347K)

>he has his own Jokerangs
That's pretty cute

I was all for vigilante until
>I never meant to hurt you
>I don't care what you meant

Time to start a new save file.

Tell me about this Frank.

How can you tell in the villain version?

He's just some background character you meet and briefly interact with in season 1. It's been a very long time since I've played it and I don't remember him too well, which leads me to conclude that he's not every memorable to begin with. But he's definitely one of the minions in the trailer, or at least his model is. So, remember: if you act like a big enough autist and meme something into popularity, you too can get Telltale to notice you.

>Bruce has to somewhat rely on Joker because he's heavily injured early on
I like where they're going with this. Also how the fuck strong is John that he can keep hold of Batman in all that armor with one arm when using that grappling hook?

What a fucking slut

Attached: qcxzufdc.gif (540x255, 1.34M)

>I don't wanna get Harley romantically linked to John

What a faggot.

Can't wait for Alfred and Joker to interact with each other

Attached: 20180130210823_1.jpg (1920x2156, 953K)

>What Joker are you getting?

They're probably the same thing anyway but I want the one gets Harley cause that scene with her the last chapter was great.

>Not wanting to waste Harley on a guy like John is being a faggot

Ok, cool. Whatever you say

I don't think that's happening, user.

Attached: ahegao face.png (880x880, 1020K)

>those Joker themed toys good guy John busts out
Holy shit
How did he even get them? Is Batman going to hook him up?

Attached: 38932809.png (595x521, 219K)

DC All Access had an interview with some guy from Telltale, so if anyone wanna check out

youtube.com/watch?v=T8wmvjJ9EGA

I want this

Attached: where does he get all those wonderful toys.png (1920x1080, 1.24M)

How about dead? Dead is a good option. The Joker was a mistake.

>No Red Hood a la Brave and the Bold

This sucks.

Attached: 717603-552b029_super.jpg (600x337, 10K)

>shadman

I can't wait for that scene where Bane is getting stabbed repeatedly in the neck by vigilante Joker.

Fuck off, Waller

Unironically this, but for slightly biased reasons.

I don't want another story where the Joker is just carted off to Arkham. Burton had the right idea with Batman 89. Either kill him off and have it mean something emotionally or otherwise or don't even bother.

I expect Gordonposting to be out in full force next week when this gets released.

well, they have to make it so that the choices for each season are more or less contained within that season, so they can't have the joker actually turn full good by your choices if they want to use him after this season.

do they even advertise the games like that anymore? at this point, with telltale games, you know full well what you're getting.

STAB STAB STAB

>do they even advertise the games like that anymore? at this point, with telltale games, you know full well what you're getting.
They've been advertising it nonstop for the past several weeks.
telltale.com/news/2018/03/batman-the-enemy-within-season-finale---telltale-s-branchiest-episode-ever---premieres-march-27-/
>In total, Same Stitch contains three and a half hours of content spread across two completely distinct storylines that share, at most, only three overlapping scenes. Each of those storylines includes further conditional variations that reflect your earlier choices and make Same Stitch, mathematically, Telltale’s “branchiest” episode ever. With over 4,500 lines of dialogue divided among 38 characters, the overall script for the episode is larger than Christopher Nolan’s entire Dark Knight trilogy.
So yeah, they're trying to get everyone revved up. But going by these two trailers, the differences seem shallow at best.

>John meets Alfred
>John gets to go to the Batcave
I don't know how to process this information but I haven't stopped smiling for ten minutes.

Attached: 0403.jpg (500x276, 18K)

He presents John.

With how he seems to start acting at the end of the trailer I am kind of expecting him to heel turn but man it would be nice if he can legit end up being a bro, or at the very least have a heroic sacrifice moment

>Vigilante John ends up coming to blows with Batman after being confronted for violating the no kill rule and taking things too far
>their methods clash so they can never work together, but he doesn't hold it against Bruce and ends up going out on his own terms in an ambiguous enough way to cast doubt on if he's really dead, "dying" doing the right thing after an entire episode of not understanding how being a hero works
Would this be a good outcome everyone can agree on?

I have always argued for this. Ape off Catwoman's portrayal and death in Batman Returns. It's the only way they can make an emotionally fulfilling finale without compromising his character.

>waste Harley on John

Absolutely a faggot.

>John im glad you became a vigilante instead of a villain
>why dont i buy you a drink?
>[Glass Him]

You might want to listen to this

tehnazzy.tumblr.com/post/172130559312/audio_player_iframe/tehnazzy/tumblr_p5zhbvooKR1r26p5f

It'd be nice if we can question him on how the fuck he gets all his shit in Vigilante path

at least in Villain path it makes some potential sense due to working with Harley

can me and john fuck or what

As suspected, they're going to make it impossible to stay friendly with Vigilante John. Which will probably lead to a falling out and the same ending as with Villain John. Shocker.

No, but there's a lingering shot of him wrapping his arm around Batman's waist. That's probably the closest you'll get.

eh, it's something

How do you feel about Joker's death in the Arkham games?

Pretty good. It was time to kill him off. The problem was bringing him back in Knight instead of giving Scarecrow the spotlight.

>the villain joker looks a thousand times better
it's not fucking fair

underrated.

I loved it, it was very different to other deaths. It gave you feelings

what is this trash

>villain Joker looks fuckable
>vigilante Joker looks like Ace Ventura with downes
Hell of a monkeys paw

i want to smell harley farts

Attached: harleyq.gif (500x245, 1.95M)

You answered your own question friend

where's the shadman-ifying user when you need him?

i just had a SUPERBAD flashbacks.

Is it just perspective or does Joker have super broad shoulders? Way more than Bruce.

Attached: 1387188464213.jpg (392x601, 44K)

shoulder pads?

I hope we get some fun moments with him before it all inevitably goes south beyond repair.

I hope that drawfag comes back after the episode drops and does more art. Their porn was top notch A+.

They should've made Vigilante Joker the Red Hood
way better than this Ace Ventura shit

Most normalfags don't even know that Red Hood was Joker before he was Jason, so that's probably why they didn't do it. I agree though that it would've been more creative, especially if they modeled his relationship with Bruce after Jason's.

they implied that he was a villain before going to arkam and losing his memories, i´m hoping that it turn out he was red hood and then lost his memories because he felt in the acid

as if they'd hide a husbando/waifu character's face for most of the time

I'm surprised that for as long as this gag has been on this board, no one has posted this clip:

youtu.be/LgZR-hcOWy8?t=31

Why is he missing an eyebrow?

"What is this? Plastic armor?"

sauce????

>Telltale
dropped

This is as good as we're gonna get.
That was such a strangely good cartoon.
Why does DC fuck up its recent comics and its movies but its cartoons are always on point?

I think he'll stay cool. The most is that Batman will have to talk him out of killing people.
I think this will probably be one end of Vigilante, with another being Bruce just letting John kill people where he can't.
