same. anyway, cool idea for a thread op. wish I had stuff to contribute

MAN, this sort of thing is my SHIT, op. I'm a fucking sucker for it.

James Harren in Rumble has to be one of my all time favorites for this -- god, if I had a PDF I'd storytime it right now, it's full of this sort of thing. Apologies for the shit pic.

I had to look at it for a long time -- I think the middle two panels are the problem.

I thought he was successfully landing an attack on mummy guy, who somehow reversed it, but I think he's actually going for a leg-sweep and whiffing, while mummy guy does a backflip.

>I thought he was successfully landing an attack on mummy guy, who somehow reversed it, but I think he's actually going for a leg-sweep and whiffing, while mummy guy does a backflip.
that doesn't make sense given the position the protagonist ends up in. honestly i think the action in that page is just kinda nonsense

>Guy goes for a straight right punch
>Mummyman dodges and stabs both his hands
>Guy wraps his right arm around mummymans head and knees him in the back
>Mummyman moves with the kick into a salida del sol
It makes sense if you figure it out, but it should definitely not be this hard to figure out

oookay now i follow. thanks user.

>James Harren in Rumble
that's not a bad page. Will keep an eye out for this guy in the future.

That looks like the psychedelic kind of nonsense I like! Source?

NM, I just googled it: The Hero Book One (English) by David Rubin

Love this kind of stuff.

that is some good stuff.

admittedly this is good but could have been better had the artist chosen only one (the right one) figure

that's pretty sexy

The best hero.

Is it any good? What's it about?

It's a modern retelling of Heracles myth, mashed-up with a bunch anachronistic sci-fi elements, it's pretty good.
