Interjections isn't even in the top 5. Maybe not even in the top 10.
>When you still use that song to multiply by five.

Hey! Who's that sad little scrap of paper?
D'Ya really wanna know?
School House Rock isn't something to be elitist about. You have to go with the "all girls are best girl" option and realize all the songs are awesome.
Now that we've got that out of the way, it's Little Twelve Toes are there any other things that have similar animation styles to 70s SHR.
Whatever Happened to Robot Jones has a similar art style.
All of them (original series)
>The shot heard round the world
TAKE YOUR POWDER, TAKE YOUR GUNS AND REPORT TO GENERAL WASH-ING-TON
I’ve introduced my kids to the originals. They’re in 3rd grade and have learned more from these than in 6 months of school.
I sit there and quiz my Son about “No more Kings”...he knows more about the American Revolution than most 11th graders.
AND THE FATHER OF OUR COUNTRY BEAT THE BRITISH THERE AT YORKTOWN AND BROUGHT FREEDOM TO YOU AND ME AND THE USA...GOD BLESS AMERICA, LET FREEDOM RING!
I'm just a bill
>You have to go with the "all girls are best girl" option
Groovy.
It's true that there are many gems in the SR catalog, but the test I like to apply is the old "Name That Tune" test of a song that you can instantly recognize with the least number of notes played.
is the litmus test for me. I can recognize "Conjunction Junction" by its first three notes.
Now I know that there are others that fit this bill. "Figure Eight" is an obvious three-note recognition candidate, and its melancholy melody gets your attention in a quite different fashion. "Verb, That's What's Happening" has that slick '70s funk vibe. For others it may be the four notes of "A Noun is a Person, Place or Thing" that set off your memory.
The creator of the series was a advertising creator who knew how to catch his audience's attention. SR was truly an inspired series.

You sir are a man of taste
I used to watch these segments so many times. Actually memorized the preamble to the Constitution because of it, and kind of like what says, I was really able to process the linearity of battles during the Revolution because of "Shot Heard 'Round the World". Beyond the educational value, I really remember them so fondly because the songs were downright good.
>Creator Bob Dorough collaborated as a bebop pianist and singer with Miles Davis for two of his albums
Holy shit!
you're making me blush user

THERE'S A GREAT NEW CRAZE THAT'S SWEEPING THE NATION
COME ON, DO THE CIRCULATION
Is Verb the best black superhero?
but more importantly:
>green jupiter
>blue saturn
>'and Neptune is its twin'
What the fuck, Janet?
>Very, That's what's happening
You mean 'Verb'?
See, I wanted to disagree with you and say Conjunction Junction, but now I just can't get Interjections out of my head.
I did yes.
opinions aren't fa--
oh wait, you're correct here
>“No more Kings”
This is the only one I take some issue with from a historical perspective.
We also really hurt Georgies feelings, he retreated to Hanover and drafted an Abdication speech.

My man!
This guy gets it. Damn that's smooth.
Something else that reminds me of Schoolhouse Rock is America, Now. Obviously not as good, but it had some catchy tunes with a somewhat similar presentation.
Might as well post the best ones.
