Art Style Appreciation Thread

Post art styles that you think are well done.

I like this style; it's one of the nicer ones I've seen in 3D.

This was clearly animated overseas then redubbed in America

This looks like garbage where is this from South Korea?

Looks nice to me. It's a TV show, not a big-budget film, so the animation is kinda snappy, but that doesn't take away from the nice art style for me.

There's something oddly appealing about the simplicity of style in kids' shows in recent years. They so often seem to hire designers that know how to avoid both over and under designing things. Not making things so simple that even the target young audience is bored, and also not being a fucking mess such that it's an absolute eyesore.

NEW EPS WHEN?!

that is pretty adorable, it has a cute storybook feeling to it. I like it

It's actually a bit ridiculous how the art production value goes up the younger the target audience is.

some toddler shows actually are badly animated but fucking hey duggee is a national treasure

Recent toddler shows seem to know how to utilize their Flash limitations better than other shows. They approach them in a very motion graphics/graphic design kind of way.

Mighty Magiswords is trying to have John K. animation but with tweens and it's a horrible mixture. TTG has fine animation for what it is, but the overall composition of shots and color design is practically non-existent in most of the show.

I really feel like a lot of these basic animated shows would visually improve dramatically if they just paid a little bit more attention to color and composition to make up for it.

Storybots is a nice example. Pretty much each shot looks like a kids book page even though there is not that much animation or puppeting going on.

It's based on children's graphic novels, style included (with some changes, but overall very similar), so that's no accident.
Couldn't find any higher res pictures, sorry

I know this show isn't all that beloved around here, but I more than love the artstyle in this one, besides other things. After all, I just seem to like what everyone hates.

Same user here Also, this - simply for being more refined. And not just in art-style, either.

I like their designs

The character designs could be better, but I still love how this show looks, besides just liking the show in general.
