How are millennial supposed to move out? Pic related would easily cost $900,000 in Canada. I am 21 years old and do not see myself moving out for another four years.

Call me and I'll rake you away leaf

And in 4 years you can afford a million dollar home?

>I need a fuckoff expensive and huge house

If you were smart you would buy acreage with nothing on it and build your own like I am

but if you do that its in the middle of fucking nowhere where there are no jobs to make money.

Kill your parents and inherit or maybe just fuck off and live somewhere you can afford, dummy

Move to a cheaper place.

Leafy, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

why don't you stop being lazy.

>demographic dead ends actually believe this

No first time home should be that large or expensive. You build wealth, dipshit. That means starting small and building home equity which keeps getting flipped/larger until you can reasonably afford something like that.

That's the problem with Millenials (and I hate that I'm lumped in with these faggots): they think the lifestyle that took their parents decades to create is what they're entitled or expected to have on day 1. Learn to sacrifice you buncha faggots.

You're cherry picking, I live in SoCal

Is this the "Hyper inflated socialist hellhole" thread?

Tell me when that cheaper place has the same economic opportunities.

>I need a 79million square meters independent home to move out

Just get a fucking flat like anyone else, faggot.

wahhhhh wahhhh wahhhh

"it's too hard, I don't know what to do, everything wasn't handed to me, I need to get a job"

you sound like a little bitch

You can do it wherever possible to purchase an empty lot. And you are not "making money" if you pay most of it for loans. This how it works, and the reason why not everyone live in Toronto

>no jobs to make money
>I can't drive 25 min into the city on the interstate
>I have no skills to brew my own alcohol and sell that
>I can't farm or keep livestock

OP where do you live? In the Toronto area that's a $2m home all day...

>all in nigger hot zones

nigga, u gay

9000000 buys you a giant house next to a lake in a nice ass part of Miami. Op you're getting ripped the fuck off

but it costs 100k to build, and I'm probably eurospeking it with brick . Buy a plot of land and build a home faggot,
>b-but it's not near a city and muh job
you wanna live next to hippies druggies and chinks?

No way that house costs only $900,000. Probably closer to $2M.

Rent an apartment. It's the only way if you don't earn much.

Whenever I come into these threads the OP gives a slew of excuses. Big surprise, doing it here too.

Hey OP if you have no valuable skills, too lazy to do anything to improve (and I mean anything), guess what?

You're worth nothing. You're not a producer, you just consume like a cockroach.

Kill. Your. Self.

In the states, it's almost like there's a lack of low cost housing for some reason......

Who could be taking all that low cost housing that students and 20 year olds used to be able share....hmmmm...who could it be?

I just got a software engineering job so i dont have anything to worry about
21 here

I live in the Edmonton area. They are building new condos where I am at that are $500,000 and most are just one or two bedrooms. It's nuts.

>$900,000
You lucky shit, in Vancouver that would cost at least $3 million.

buy land

then

grow crops to sell at farmer's market
make furniture
do programming
build a forge and do smithing or glassworking
etc

>Can't make a million dollars in his lifetime
>Thinks he's not untermensch

This home costs 294k in Texas. 4 beds, 4 baths, two car garage, etc. Fucking leafs, why must your shit be so expensive.

By having perfect credit.

What do you do for a living? Odd jobs here and there? Honestly I'm just interested.

living in the edmonton area as well,
are you talking about the river area?
those are notoriously expensive because richfags like to come and do construction work and live in the nice view condos.

Study a trade, to obtain a good wage with no debt. Meet a girl who is in nursing, or similar high demand career who has grown up in a two parent household. Marry young, do not have kids right away. Live frugally for a year, and you alone should be able to afford a duplex, or small house in no time. Use your trade knowledge to fix up the place as much as you can. Once your wife is working she will be making a lot as a nurse in Canada. You can sell the fixed up house at this point for a good profit, and you will be able to move into a higher quality house, you could probably afford having kids at this point, and be able to keep flipping houses. In no time you'll have your cute dream home along the lake.

Give it time
There's gonna be a huge housing crash in the next year because of our incompetent government.

Homes in Alberta are already dirt cheap

Canada is having a massive real estate bubble due to Chinese investors pouring dirty money into real estate. It'll pop soon enough

Also in the middle of a bumfuck nowhere suburb with a 1 hour commute to any decent job.

Grow a pair and go live in a pod or a truck.

rent a tiny flat
makes you more of a man than living as a babby with mum n dad

F P B P

1. Mexicans move in.

2. Home values plummet.

3. ???

>macedonia
>discredited shitposting backwater
>still trying this hard

St. Albert mate.

>no fencing between neighbors
Anarchy

Big fucking deal. It's called sacrifice you entitled sniveling cunt. Goddamn you people are soft.

Buy a plot of land and build one yourself like men have done for hundreds of yeara

>a 1 hour commute to any decent job

That's nothing. You only get to moan about it when it is longer than 1h30-2h.

Or you know, 37 minutes from downtown Houston with traffic. If you work outside of downtown, you can commute in around 20-25 minutes easy.

zillow.com/homes/for_sale/TX/pmf,pf_pt/house_type/122932931_zpid/54_rid/4-_beds/250000-300000_price/941-1129_mp/2008-_built/30.544522,-94.346466,29.18214,-96.741486_rect/8_zm/

>not wanting to spend 2 hours in traffic every day means you're entitled

Seriously though, how is living in that house any better than living in a decent commieblock with good sound insulation?

all these suggestions to just buy some land and build yourself. You guys do realize that it's the land thats so fucking expensive?

but I need to be able to go to my hipster gastropub downtown so I can maybe get a shitty half blower from a purple haired 400lb troll!!!!!

Garden Grove? HB? Anaheim?Orange?

americans please explain
why do you live in shitty shacks built of plywood and huge windows facing outside at ground level if you have wild niggers roaming free
they can just look into a window, see something expensive, break through the window or the shitty wooden door or even just the wall with any tool and take everything
why not build houses more sturdy

Move to the prairies. I receive lots of jobs offers from Toronto and Vancouver but will never move there because of multiculturalism and cost of living.

>you literally can't afford any other option because you suck at life

My commute depends on the job site but it's anywhere between 30 to 90 minutes daily. Big fucking deal. Audible and podcasts make it productive.

Make sure to remind your mother what you want for dinner tonight before she leaves grocery shopping.

Cities anywhere it would be more expensive. hours inland from Vancouver that place would cost the same as it does in Texas.

Because we have guns, security systems, and police that pull over niggers that happen to be passing through good neighborhoods (because they know there's no reason for them to be there aside from trouble).

That exists?

the floor is lava. find an ivory tower and stay put.

You have to live in Texas

I'm a semi-freelance programmer, I've released 3 mobile games and 1 on Steam personally and freelanced on about 10 others, bringing my completed code and knowledge of it to other people's projects for a cut.

I grow most of my own food as well. The biggest challenge is finding a small town that has non-garbage internet then moving nearby to that. It's more difficult to just up and move to the utterly rural areas because those areas are all owned by farmers and the land parcels are commercial-farming sized, and thus often cost millions of dollars.

Google maps gives 40 minutes to downtown and 45 minutes to the medical center with no traffic. I don't understand how you think giving up 15% of your life every day is acceptable.

This is 10 minutes from the Houston city limits and 31 miles from the center of Houston, it's hardly in the middle of fuck nowhere.

Living in a car

Yeah. High cost new commieblocks offer that. Also renovated commieblocks to a lesser extent.

Texas is based, some of the best firearm laws in the country(although I wouldn't mind a state w/ similar 2A laws but cooler and with season)

those are leaf dollars. ~650k real dollars

Is this your fantasy, leaf?

Vancouver is actually a really nice place to live
There aren't too many Asians if you stay in the suburbs and their real estate market is already crashing

No amount of money can get me to live in Toronto though

Stay at home until 26-29 Bank every penny.
Don't buy stupid shit like phones, games, etc.

Even making 20k a year you should have 100k

This ,OP ur fuckin retarded

>implying you have to work in downtown Houston and there are zero jobs outside of downtown
>implying 40 minutes is an awful commute rather than a great excuse to listen to some solid music or a great audiobook
>implying one can't work from home (I'm in telepsychiatry myself, I could literally work from a shack in Cambodia so long as I had a solid internet connection)
>implying implications

It's always a computer-jew, goddammit. Do you think you could earn that kind of money by growing crops, smithing, or making furniture?

Why do home prices keep going up . I don't get it.

It just seems completely arbitrary .

Like 50 years ago people were able to afford homes, but now for some reason they decided to make it very difficult to buy one.

One would the price of a home increase over time ? If anything, it should decrease because the wood and materials are getting older .

It isn't.

Americans think their houses are SOOO much better and give them SOOO much more freedumz than ours, when in reality they're just bigger and nothing else.

>You still have neighbours
>You still have to pay as many taxes as we do
>You still live in a city with polluted air, traffic, etc.
>It's 5 times more expensive than a reasonably sized european apartment

There's nothing wrong with "commieblocks", so long as they aren't decadent pieces of shit.

Inflation, which compounds over time, makes things like homes look more expensive when they're actually often similar in cost to twenty or thirty years prior.

And paying a ridiculous amount in yearly property tax.

You can get an apartment where I live in Canada from 650-1200 a month depending on what you want to live in. 1200 seems expensive but you get a two bedroom with a laundry room kitchen and living room and a balcony in the city where everything is within comfortable walking distance. And they're impressively well furnished, it looks like you're living in an IKEA ad.

Supply and demand. How the fuck do you idiots manage to breathe?

There were less people 50 years ago and real estate was plentiful. Now with larger cities and metropolitan areas, land is more valuable in and around these areas. I feel silly having to fucking explain this very elementary concept.

You're supposed to take out a mortgage so banks came make money off of you for the rest of your life.

Then why don't you move to a shack in cambodia faggot?

Katy? Sugarland?

Supply and Demand dummy.
Foreign investors.

Not in 'murica.
5-10K gets you a hectare, and it isn't like here where you usually can't build on it.
Most 'murica land is "buildable".

>needing a six bedroom 4.5 bath monstrosity for a first home
A fucking leaf

Ive lost allready all hope for that, in the age of 26 ive lived in streets homeless 4years allready.

Thank god mother take Me living with her, on this winter. First Time in years alltho.

You're not supposed to buy a big family home at 21 dumbass

Look at flats

the real question isn't if you must move out

it's do you have a job? and is it just an entry level job or are you working your way into a real job?

Also, I'm not giving you information on housing cost/job shit in my area like these other peeps

got enough of you leafs and cali showing up like it the economic fall season here

There's decadent commieblocks? The only ones I've ever seen were pitiful.

As to our houses being better, I mean- you can get a place with a lot of space and land far from the city that can really be your fucking castle, and will be cheap as fuck to boot. And taxes aren't all that high in many states, only in places like Commiefornia.

>farming is profitable
Hyuk hyuk

Is it really cheaper to build your own home?

Leaf faggot can't make a million bucks

What an utter fucking failure

>implying wealth-building shouldn't be a generational exercise

Why is it always a fucking Russian coming in here talking about how "cardboard" our house are?

>ywn live in a rat cage in a skyscraper full of human cyborgs high above the streets of a dystopian future city so polluted with smog that some days it's like the sun never rose
>ywn crack into a secure government server and find evidence of rampant corruption and other crimes
>ywn race through the streets, fleeing armed g-men who want to put you down while you try and find a safe place to upload what you've found
>ywn befriend other cyborgs and societal rejects like yourself and meet a qt girl who wants to help you and will stick by your side no matter what

Mont Belvieu

How are you supposed to get a girlfriend when you live at home? Most women will reject you if you aren't living in an apartment.
