what the actual fuck
What the actual fuck
the better question is why is it a minuute and 45 seconds long for a couch gag
couch gags are the only good thing left in the simpsons.
pretty gud
because there wasn't enough material for a full episode
Eh...I agree to disagree as the majority are just randumb. Like OP's example or the shitty music video one that was the flavor of the month in pop culture and then the Simpsons decided to parody it almost a year later.
Simpsons really needs to end at this point. It's a show that has gone on for so long that it went from relevant to joke to theater movie to joke again.
FOX needs to end the Simpsons and perform a big joke as the ending. Think Roseanne's original ending before being brought back this year. Where the whole show is nothing more than a show by adult Bart (homage to Matt) and all the other characters are not as flanderized.
Need a webm or gif of the head expanding and exploding sequence for a perfect Mind Blown Reaction
Most couch gags these days are pretty much short films, the longest one to date was the Rick and Morty crossover at 2 and a half minutes
That... was beautiful
Kinda reminds me of Lloyd's Lunchbox
Have you never seen Bill Plymptons Faces before? The man is a fucking legend
>randumb. Like OP's example
Stop posting, dude.
simpsons is a 'cultural institution'. it will never stop.
Eh, I agree. The shows humor has become more randumb than enjoyable.
>Eh...I agree to disagree as the majority are just randumb
Maybe the in-house ones, but the guest ones are typically good.

Thats Bill Plympton for you.
Have you never seen his stuff before?
>Plympton's still knocking about
Oh neat.
>Rick and Morty crossover
Just when I thought this should couldn't get any lower.
>Just when I thought this should couldn't get any lower.
I don't know if you're aware but this show had a 30 minutes crossover with Family Guy.
I mostly agree, except OP's example is good you tasteless fag.
>I don't know if you're aware but this show had a 30 minutes crossover with Family Guy.
Family Guy/Simpsons crossover was 45 minutes, actually.
Meanwhile Simpsons/Futurama was only the standard 22 minutes.
That was actually an episode of Family Guy
It's just a Simpsons version of Your Face, one of Bill Plympton's earlier animations. If you haven't heard of him before, you should check out some of his stuff, it's pretty neat.
I noticed you didn't list the John K. couch "gags" he did.
>it's a "lisa finds out that homer is an elder god and springfield has been keep in a time bubble for decades so he could had fun" episode
god i love to watch that woman get beer
toppest tier couch gag right here

Op here. I will be honest, I have not.
>Couch gag
>There is no gag
And both crossovers that people had been pining for for years ended up incredibly underwhelming.
The actual episodes suck so they might as well make the couch gags as long as they please.
How can you be so pretentious yet sell out so hard.
Neat. This is like, the third time he's done it.
shut the fuck up, boco. nobody wants you here
The only good guest couch gag was the Don Hertzfeldt one.
What about La-Z Rider?
I think its time to finally filter you
la-z rider i great but Sup Forums is against anything popular
The only one that's interesting is the Don Hertzfeldt one. The rest may be pretty but they only exist to be relevant
I fucking hate this
Would you imagine how horryifying would be to have a guest japanese animator!?
All because of the rule of keeping the yellow skin and simpsons snout mouths
