Captain Marvel is going to be non-canon?

Go away Peterson

I'm actually am, yes.

I love Coulson, and Ronan was killed too quickly!

>Ronan
Makes sense given the timeline, and I couldn't imagine doing so much Kree shit without him. Perhaps in this movie Ronan will actually be worth a damn

Attached: Ronan.png (958x1101, 846K)

It's gonna be a prequel, smartass

Same, hoping they let Ronan breathe and be more than vanilla villain #36

s-sorry sir

DANCE-OFF, BRO
YOU AND ME!

I'm glad Gregg is back in something that isn't tv-budget, even if it's a prequel so he'll be de-aged with marvel's patented uncanny valley cgi.

I hate everything about this page, and Dan Harmon is pathetic

The kree-skrull war looking like it'll take place on earth

Why is scarey terry part of the team?!?! this comic makes no sense!

Off to reddit with you

What magic being did Clark Gregg save to get this lucky off that one off side role in Iron Man

That's nice. We haven't seen Coulson since 2012, so I hope they make his appearance here a memorable one.

That doesn't make any sense

Ah so Dan HArmon is a Sup Forums poster, that makes sense

HOLY SIT YES

It'll be nice to finally have Son of Coul back in the MCU

I'm super happy, love Lee Pace and I think he got kinda wasted on GotG. Hope Ronan gets some more character this time.

>using r&m to prove your point
how will user ever recover?

And don't forget the biggest comeback

Attached: DjimonHounsou-guardians_large.jpg (679x365, 26K)

Who?

The whole reason the Kree-Skrull war is an issue to humans is that they both want Earth for its tactical position. It makes perfect sense.

>McKenna Grace

Could the rumors be true?

Attached: McKenna Grace.jpg (315x315, 13K)

Why there are Black Kree?

Young Carol I guess.

I'm hoping he'll start out as a good guy (with some extreme views about Kree supremacy), who then becomes disillusioned by the events of the movie and goes down the path of radicalization.
Pleeenty of potential to make him an actual character this time around.

What rumors?

Avengers 5 Kree-Skrull War.

Plus you can't have the post credits scene of Avengers 4 without the Skrulls on Earth

It'll be on Earth probably even New York

Attached: captain-marvel-nick-fury.jpg (650x216, 18K)

There's a rumor Carol is a single mother in the movie.

But young Carol in flashbacks does make more sense.

But the film is set in the 90s and The Chitauri Invasion was the first confirmed alien conflict Earth ever had

has someone tried to sketch out a timeline with star lord and ego in the 80s, this in the 90s, the opening scene of black panther, we might get some pym adventures in that timeframe.

He's the darkest shade of midnight blue.

>Implying the general public will know there ever was a Kree-Skrull war.

Alien mind wiping technology

There fixed everything

>mfw I thought that meant Coulson was coming back in the present day and that AoS was canon for a second

Attached: crying batman.gif (294x219, 477K)

First confirmed alien conflict that the public knows about. It's not like the skrulls' main gimmick is disguising themselves as other people.

Okay yeah, the whole shapeshifting Skrull thing, I get it.
You can't do that now, because then people would ask why SHIELD wasn't MIB flashy the entire time.

I choose to be optimistic about Ming-Na appearing for a scene or two.

Carol leaves behind a young daughter that'll be an adult when she inevitably returns to Earth after AVENGERS 4.

She really is the new Captain America.

Attached: Birds of a Feather.jpg (640x320, 33K)

Maybe they got flashed too

>Ronan and Carol team-up to fight skrulls together
sounds based, I actually liked Pace's depiction of Ronan as basically a space version of an islamic extremist

Sorry you've wasted 5 years on that noncanon garbage

>Kree-Skrull War.
That comic sucked

>Cap has the struggle of a man from the 40s transported to the modern day

What will be the struggles of a woman from the 90s transported to the modern day?

Can you blame them? Having a literal walking advertisement for your entire company and having it being taken seriously is an incredible undertaking, and it just makes sense. Evans steps out of Captain AMERICA, Marvel rebrands with a qt girl Captain named after themselves.
They'll make her field leader of the team too.

So did Civil War, what's your point?

not realizing you can't call things gay to mean lame anymore

Surprised things aren't so needlessly edgy, and probably annoyed she missed out on the Chitauri invasion

So her kid's gonna be the girl Cap saves in the first Avengers movie right?

What's an iphone?
How do I send an email?
What happened to Sonny Bono?
Why is my TV so flat?

>After 10 years of the MCU...
>Captain America is finally returning to earth.

My god...

In the present her daughter will rape her

>>Ronan is back.

Thank. Fuck.
We need some heavy “You stand Accuse” all put war.

$10 says his dad bites it in this one and he starts the whole “Blood of my father” lines that we saw in GotG.

Queen of Sup Forums!

It's my personal headcanon that Carol is going to binge watch Friends when she gets home

>Implying
They'll retcon and have some sort of scene with her outside Earth, watching Tony carry the nuke into the wormhole.

>garbage
(you) haven't watched since season one I take it?

Space Fascists, fuck yeah!

Attached: e3MVxMM.png (686x553, 457K)

>murdercarol misses all the edgy hyperviolence in comic books
pottery

>Korath

Makes sense why Marvel makes even side characters sign 5 movie contracts because I was sure as hell we'd never see him again.

>mfw throwaway line about Agent May

Attached: canon.jpg (1800x1280, 865K)

>Are you excited with the return of Coulson, Ronan and Korath to the MCU?

Not really, no.

>AoS will probably have been over for about a year by then
>Carol needs to learn martial arts to use her new powers to fight skrulls
>her sensei is Agent May, finally confirming AoS as canon

>Last season of Gotham
>Last Season of AoS
RIP good times

>What will be the struggles of a woman from the 90s transported to the modern day?
Watching a Simpsons episode would probably be horrifying.

AoS recently finished its future space arc, theyre in their correct time again

Yes, but this movie takes place in the past.

Gotham might survive another season, if only because the Fox network will probably want some stability while they lose their production studio to Disney.

I think tv show can add lore on how SHIELD obtained that Kree body from first season. Since the current season is dealing with kree as villians, I think it will connect with captain marvel more than Infinity war.

Unironically best writing in the MCU. Quality wise, Clark Gregg won the jackpot, Agents of Shield will go down as one of the most underrated gems of a show.

We still have Legends of Tomorrow, user.

Those three shows are like the trinity of fun.

>S1's Kree that they used on Coulson is Mar-vell

Because if they are Pink ones of course they are going to make Black ones

Here's Gregg from 1991.

That hair. Shame how things went.

Attached: DZO-xkvVAAY5ila.jpg (449x422, 26K)

Already did, the Nazis had it.

I think he rocks the balding look pretty well.

Or maybe it's a young Carol.

Or maybe she's Phyla but I doubt that

Clark Gregg is the cutest even today.

youtube.com/watch?v=gwQ0UxcMObo

>actually knows what ATCU stands for

MCU Steve wasn't dead beat parent tho.

I want to see Clark Gregg as the new captain of the USS Discovery.

Attached: ya boi.png (540x720, 548K)

That's the most you can hope for and it would be there if Gregg asked because Marvel Studios doesn't really give a fuck about the shows.

Not gonna waste CGI money to make younger a character that is a literally who to the movies.

That's the benefit of hiring Ming-Na. She could be 30, she could be 50, how the fuck would you tell?

That's too grim an oultlook desu.

The simple problem is that movie guys just don't want to bother with contract negotiations for movies with TV actors. Clark Gregg is an exception because he already has movie in his papers, rest of cast probably signed only for shows.

thankfully SLJ will appear in literally anything so was on AoS

Same thing Cap's struggles were in the 60's comics, just pure angst and people going "you just missed 20 years"

Maybe some oh wow smartphones reaction from Carol.

They are trying super hard to make her the new Cap and that's a big sign that they didn't know what to do with her character.

I hope they have something that differentiates her from him because otherwise people are not going to take to her once he leaves if she's just a carbon copy of him.

Didn't they confirmed that none of the tv people were going to be Infinity Wars? I can't see any if them appearing in anything unless AoS is over.

Post yfw this entirely redeems Ronan's character and retroactively makes him a good villain.

Attached: George_Ayittey_detail.jpg (762x1097, 259K)

I fucking love when actors don't know minor details because it breaks fanboys minds. There's a video somewhere of Domhnall Gleeson revealing that he learned way after TFA was done that his character had a first name.

For some reason I always assumed Helena and Mack wouldn't know abbreviations in canon.

Shame about Fitz Simmons though.

>Oh, what is Donald Trump having a cameo in n- WAIT WHAT?

That article looks like shit in my phone but I only saw it mentioning Djimon and Clark, did it say that Pace is coming back too?

I hope Carol's the one that gives Nick his eyepatch. It'd be a nice shoutout to the scene in the winter soldier where he says he doesn't trust people because someone took his eye in the 90s

One would imagine they would have learned their lesson with Strange's Stark-lite moments not being received well and BP sliding into the position of MCU's new headliner instead.

Just who will overshadow Carol?

You just have to remember that it's literally only a job to them. They definitely LIKE the show, but they move from one script to the next. Expecting actors to know everything their characters know is absurd.

So we can expect the innevitable porn parody of Jim Shooter's Avengers #200 then?

It'll be a skrull that does it
