Wait, they picked? Please tell me its true, the west (I mean, technicaly just the USA) at least needs SOMETHING that looks good.

I mean the MC looks cute and it could be at least entertaining like Castlevania, but after the quality drop of Urbance I'm going to stay cautiously optimistic until I actually watch it.

Did Urbance became a show? I just saw the pilot.

It's true. They're making a 12 episode show

Why are black weebs so based? Why are black weebs more hardcore than any white weeb you will ever meet?

Attached: weeaboo-trash-57f906230fefb[1].png (736x691, 818K)

Black weebs have naturaly more testosterone than regular weebs.

Hell, artfags black weebs are usualy great.

I'm talking about the difference between the mini-pilot/trailer and the actual pilot episode. I have nothing against creators trying to kick off a full animated series from scratch but I hope there aren't any drastic compromises in the final product.

Honestly? Not really. It looks like one of those bad direct to DVD anime from the mid-2000s like Afro-Samurai. All flash and no substance, and super derivative.

Is this a fr show?

>Afro Samurai
>Bad

Kill yourself.

I knew a black weeb and it was awful
>Insults me for not knowing Japanese
>Get's triggered every time I don't like his waifu
>Grown ass nigga trying to act Kawaii
They are just like normal weebs but 2 feet taller and will beat your ass if you don't respect their waifu.

>Direct to DVD anime

I mean, I know we're not on Sup Forums but you do know that typically means it's higher quality in anime, right?

Nope. American creator, Japanese animation studio.

Albeit, Satelight do have a number of French staff so there's sometimes a bit of French aesthetic in their stuff.

It was bad. It was a fucking mess. propped up by celebrity vas

>They are just like normal weebs but 2 feet taller and will beat your ass if you don't respect their waifu.

BASED

it looks alright, but the mc being awkward got old real fast.

Because we don't give a fuck and usually have the confidence to make it known.

But I'm awkward as fuck so that's not applicable to me.

Yeah, I remember that Tekken movie being fucking incredible

Hyped for the porn.

I want more things made by blacks
>Black men aren't SJWs and always want da booty to be turned up to 11
>Always put fun and fights as the number 1 priority
>Can't be criticized for it or else you are racist

This seems racist.

Well, it looks cool. Altough I wish she didn't have blond hair. It doesn't suit her.

Oh baby.

looks like anime.

animation and action moves are not bad.

characters no fucking idea. so far big borring. to stereotypical.

fantasy world? its bullshit.. they need more work on background story.

also i dont care about black or white bullshit. american racists can go fuck themselves

Attached: 15220959606341.jpg (1280x1280, 1004K)

Looks weird. I've stumbled on this show before but something always seems off about it.

But other racists are just fine

depends on if u were watching it for the story or the action

.... That is a LOT of Cowboy Bebop.

>MCs hair

I mean..

>Wanted Criminal, fantasy sci-fi space adventures

like...

>cute robo girls
>cute girl is probably a boy

A LOT, of Cowboy Bebop.

Attached: 5sg1k1l.jpg (737x778, 175K)

Fuck yea I'm hyped

drawfag here, give me a request with her

Even the action wasn't all that.

Her giving an user a big ol tiddy fuck.

she taking a shower

Seconding this

You seen the pics of Momseid where she's got Superman pinned just by pressing her tits down on him alone? Try something like that.

Eh, I'm not expecting anything good, but I'll give it a try.

It looks like it's trying way too hard to be late 90's action jazz animu like Cowboy Bebop.

Gonna finish And and call it a night

Nice.

Looks like dis gon' be good

I thought crunchy roll was gonna stream this? or am I thinking of that other one with the michiko look-alike with the katana?

imgur.com/a/gxSbt

Music is mediocre and really weakens this trailer a lot, should have went for a big band and swing sound instead of this passive nu-jazz thing if they wanted to make a bigger impression, doesn't fit the scenes and asthetics it showed. Not really feeling the MC too.

>imgur.com/a/gxSbt
based drawfag

Seems like a netflix subscription is a must now

last one, gave this a shot

Attached: canon buster cyborg lady.png (1200x867, 322K)

Damn, you're right. I have a feeling its gonna end with afro guy fighting some dude with a sword

that's not how you spell trigun user

>cute robo girls

When was there robo people in Cowboy Bebop?

Snu snu

music is shitty

sounds like modern atlus trash

>Being this sad

Attached: Big disappointment.gif (320x240, 2.64M)

Sup Forums needs to go away

It's been a long time. I haven't even seen the Kickstarter pilot(?)

Sup Forums's porn fixation is just sad.

At least other racists don't pretend to be anti-racists.

>SOMETHING that looks good.
Castlevania?

>Black nerds aren't based
>he doesn't know Whites are the only racethat can't into anime

>At least other racists don't pretend to be anti-racists.
Of course they do. It'd be a hate crime otherwise you ninny.

Season 2 this year

wh*tes wont watch this anyway

+1

I can see it as trigun meets bebop for sure.

Attached: 1495490247123.gif (296x160, 1.27M)

niggers don't watch cartoons or read comics

Get with the times old man

So they're superior to regular weebs in every way.

Wh*tes hate anime

They only meme it

Sup Forums seems to have a thing for lolis in nazi uniforms, fucking scrubs

Good work my man

Not that he's trying to make his show super black, but I always cringe a little when black characters are drawn with cliche euro/anime features and just given a brown skin.

It looks like it's regurgitating whatever tropes he learned from previous anime, without taking into account that this isn't how black people look.

So it's not a big issue to me, but it's lacking a bit of authencity I guess. When your characters have brown skin, and you use hip hop or jazz as background music, it always bothers me a little when your characters look like a white person with crazy hair and a tan.

And I suppose that comes from the fact that black artists regugitate stuff that is so far from what we look like, design wise. They apply a visual language that wasn't made with us in mind.

I should point out, SOME black artists do it.
Not all of them

user, the girl is blond and black.

In my entire life I just saw one person that is naturaly blonde and black. MCs are clearly a made up race, like the characters from ATLA.

Also, just you know, Africa is a pretty big place with all kinds of ethnicities, including many black people with "euro features". They mostly come from the east of Africa, or even the north.

What ypu take as "normal black looking people", comes from speciphic groups of the western parts of Africa.

I know about the diversity, but I'm talking specifically about black characters who look like white people with tan.

And it's not necessarily about him either. The internet is filled with characters who are made by black amateurs who just use visual tropes normally used for white characters, hence my issue.

I expect it to be a lamer version of Solty Rei or for a more contemporary example: Dimention W.

I expect it to be a lot more lacking in any kind of substance considering
>The creator
but most importantly
>The sensibilities it is being marketed to

Attached: 86304l.jpg (426x600, 172K)

tbf some black americans would look damn near indian if you gave them straight hair

Attached: Krypton_dev-em.jpg (898x1297, 146K)

Sure, and again it's not that I think we all have the same features, but lets just say if a white person was walking around with black face, it'd look weird just from a purely visual standpoint, and that's the issue I have.

Not with this particular show necessarily, the characters probably aren't even meant as black like I said, but I've seen many creators, some actually people of color, draw characters with very cliche euro features and give them a brown skin, and I just find it jarring.

I shrug it as a lack of proper training in the arts desu.

Good point

its just you arent used to anime or japanese games

all of them are basically the same as boondocks, which is too anime or the animest cartoon in the west. its set in a hood but it doesnt make the cartoon so specially western. its still too anime and the same as japanese ones

Naaaah. Keep the porn coming, you wonderful faggots.

I like LeSean Thomas and his stuff so I'll look it up if and when it's released.

Dude, chill its just a *drawing*

Looks nice. The VAs are good from what the trailer shows.

A question: I often see the stereotype (or maybe more like character trait?) that black Americans are way into anime, kung-fu, Yugioh and everything Asian pop culture. And it seems to hold up. Boondocks certainly had some anime flavor, as does this.

Can an American friend maybe explain why this is?

>without taking into account this isn't how black people look
>implying

Find me a White/Chinese man that looks like:

Naruto
Pain
Ichigo
Sasuke
Natsu
Luffy
Ken
Ryu
Akuma
Zangief
Ronanoa Zorro
Itachi
Tetsuo
Blanka
Saitama
Jotaro Kujo
Josuke
Giorno
And Genos

Dude, japanese productions make up most of what I consume since I was a kid. That's not the issue.

If anything, what I'm pointing at is how the fact that we're so used to it is making us reproduce it to an extent where its just drawing symbols, and erasing actual facial features which could be represented in a more diverse way.

Like I said it's not that big an issue to me, but I find it a bit cringey. Especially when creators of color do it, because they should know better.

That's part of it too.

i've seen the interview or talk or whatever with this Lesbian Thomas guy and i gotta say he has quite an enormous ego, also wasn't impressed with pic related trailer

Think you could find it and share it here?

i'm not 100% sure, but i think it was this one: youtube.com/watch?v=TMUCCdJPNo0

Then it doesn't matter.

It kinda does, but you prefer not to see the point.

Anyway, i got work to do, so i'll refer you to

>creators of color
which colour?

the reason you cringe is, because its anime:) i understand what you feel but id say you still arent used to, for instance, emo black, chuuni (edgy) ass nigga, black male with straight hair etc just because there werent so many of such black characters in anime.

anime characters literally look cringy to most people. the characters of ff 15 look cringy af to most japanese non-otaku men.

you are just starting to experience/understand the cringiness with such black anime characters. you didnt notice it or feel it because the cringy characters werent black.

too black?

Intrigued by the show, but I find the creator despicable as a person.

>>In a more diverse way
>Anime/cartoons are realism

This point is stupid. Are you saying drawing talking cats and raccoons in space ships is wrong and ""hurting"" the """Diversity""" of the show?!

That's retarded, this is a cartoon, not a artsy political film. Get out.

>creator despicable as a person.
What did he do?

You are a grown man asking for porn of a cartoon character to jack off too, please tell me anything more sadder than that user.

Attached: My disgust.jpg (453x439, 85K)

Nah, i find FF characters or Sasuke types cringy too.

In fact the issue I've had with the use of similar euro type features on characters of color bothered me even as a kid, and i'm not even talking about what my family had to say about the so called "black" or "arab" or any other characters. The japanese ones too, but since they're the ones making content, I won't talk on their behalf.

Anyway. Show this type of character to an african family, tell its a black character, and look at them laugh.

It's not a big issue, it's not specifically black, and it's nothing big, just a bit cringey. and most of it is just due to the visual language that's kind of lacking for mainstream stuff, but plenty of japanese authors have great diversity in their faces and such.

Where I tend to show be more serious is with people of color themselves doing this, because they often don't realize it.

If you do it consciously it's fine, but often it's them subconsciously taking part in some form of homogenous representation of themselves, and it's actually kinda harmful over time.

(Black here)
Basically Black men are more intrigued to action oriented shows. Since violence is an integruel part of our culture from the inside and out. So shows that that are action based, which in a lot of anime, speaks to us than so a white man. And not to mention that violence is a black man's way of expressing himself as well, so this help. And a game like Yu-Gi-Oh is also big since we view as another form of dominance to somebody else as well.

Attached: Avdol.jpg (723x700, 335K)

>black characters who look like white people with tan
Is it really when one can find it easily in the real world. Would tell those people that they are just whites in tan as well.
