i don't blame you. it's easy to get caught up in, because people justify it by telling themselves "i'm doing the right thing because this somehow helps hurt and oppressed people". however, usually, half the time it's a misunderstanding or overreaction by someone that leads to these Tumblr rage mobs developing. there are also malicious things that happen, as well. i used to find myself involved in that drama until i started taking more critical looks at shit and didn't buy into the Tumblr mob mentality. it also doesn't help that a wide userbase of Tumblr is under the age of 18 and far more emotional than rational.
also, this is without mentioning the hypocracy and inconsistencies that people on Tumblr have with things they like or don't like. Everything is "problematic" until it affects what you like or their personal beliefs.
