Why do Japs have such great shape standards for drawing their comics while the western scene has regressed into square doodles and basically Powerpuff Girl type of shit splashed with DeviantArt fanart tier artistic direction?
Can someone explain this to me? Even the jello-hair in Japanese comics looks more aesthetic than whole sentient beings being drawn by western artists. It doesn't make any sense. Is there a term for this?
