Nick's animation is way beyond CN in terms of visuals, and the live action shows are the reasons for that. Less animated shows to make and cheap sitcoms shitting money. It's the same with Disney. They produce some stuff in-house while CN outsources everything from Korea to keep up with the demand

Nick rejected Modifyers in favor of Back to the Banyard and eventually, the creator put it up online and it got a huge response. Threads for months around here, and Reccardi had some intentions to try doing something with the concept even back then.
Then Zone makes the porno, it goes super viral, and it poisons the well for Reccardi's re-pitching efforts, though he seems to have gotten back onto the horse now.
