The comics weapons encyclopedia.
Started as a series in Spirou in 1974 (at a time where belgian children magazines had stories about concentration camps, so it isn't much of a surprise) about the history of weapons. Then it focused on secret or wierd weapons.
A great book for gun lovers and history fans.

It's fun watching forgotten weapons and playing bingo with it.

What does Sup Forums think about Les Passagers Du Vent?

Also, claim your Waifu du Vent

>I know Isa is best girl to have sex with and Miss Zabo has the best tits ever drawn in History, but I'm gonna go with Agnes AKA The Real Isa . Reminder that choosing that literal whore Mary is absolutely plebeian an the only good feature of hers is her ass. Even Alhiosi is a better waifu

>I also know I just made this thread, but I want to discuss this kino series. And their tits

Is this a dscount Asterix and Obelix?

>childhood is thinking Mafalda is in the right
>teenagehood is thinking she is too soft and Libertad is in the right
>adulthood is thinking Manolito was actually in the right
>mid-life crisis is wishing you could be Guille
>menopause is finding yourself agreeing mostly with Susanita
>being old is being just like Miguelito
>true patricianhood is accepting you will forever be Felipe ;_;

Arne Anka. Swedish comic about a duck who think's he is a poet and drinks a lot and talks shit. Probably the best drawn swedish comic, most of the stuff here looks like ass.

Yes and no.
>For years fans accused the series of plagiarism, referencing its similarities to the series Asterix. The titles share a similar art style, character designs, and even employ similar jokes. While the related series Kajtek and Koko had debuted years before Asterix's first publication, the characters' incarnations as Slavic warriors Kajko and Kokosz post-dated Asterix's success. For years Christa maintained that the similarities were a coincidence. Some have described as significant the fact that the last "Kajko and Kokosz" book was published the same year as the first Polish translation of an Asterix book appeared.

How do you think Mafalda ended?

I like to think Miguelito become a high member of the junta, or its secret police, Manelito went to America and buildt his supermarket chain and married Susanita, Guille become a sucessful musician, Libertad went into exile in France and Mafalda became a desaparecida ;_;

Hold on, I have to check if your negativity didn´t do in poor Quino.

The Valhalla comics are by far the most worthwhile thing to come out of Danish comics.
Great introduction to Norse mythology, staying relatively close to the source material unlike SOME things that modern audiences get their understanding of Norse mythology from.

Uploading a comic I (poorly) translated once

Attached: PULPO1.png (1084x1522, 3.03M)

Most probably it was written in English at first, but I couldn't find it. The writer and artist are Spanish.

Attached: PULPO2.png (1084x1512, 2.73M)

It originally appeared in Zona 84, the continuation to 1984, a magazine similar to Heavy Metal, they took a bunch of their comics from it.

Attached: PULPO3.png (1072x1522, 2.87M)

They have plenty of short comics like this one, usually fantasy and sci-fi, but most are /aco/ material due to nudity.
Hope you enjoyed this one!

If you assume incest as "members of the same family fucking each other" and think that man and wife are part of the same family, it makes sense. It's children logic.

Nick Knatterton is a German detective comic from the 50's.
The hero was meant to be a parody of characters like Sherlock Holmes or Batman and uses tons of ridiculous gadgets like a wooden back of the head to protect him from bullets or a false beard with included parachute.
The comic is full of puns, light jokes about the German politics at the time and glorious round tits.

It later got a cartoon adaption with even more tits.

Sweden is a strange case. There's plenty of talented artists and writers, and people are fairly pragmatic towards the medium.
Yet nothing happens.

I kinda narrow it down to a heated debate about video violence in the 1980s, about at the same time one publisher attempted to establish an adult comics scene but newsstands refused to sell them. Things were kind-of looking good again in the 00s, then came the ridiculous manga translator case.
Without those setbacks I reckon Sweden would have been a smaller France in terms of comics.

We will never get the rest of Melusine translated to english.

>Not wanting to read many good french series and a significant amount of porn

Manolito will never not be right.

It's pretty cute. It reads a little like a newspaper comic, but every strip is a full-page Sunday strip and each book has a loose plot or theme. Apparently the most recent books make a couple serious changes, but I'm not that far yet.

>mfw I have more then 2,000 various European comics in my collection from the late 1930s to the start of the 1990s
>mfw nobody would give a shit if I scanned any of them because they are all translated into fucking Danish
>mfw implying I look as rugged and handsome as Corto Maltese

Anyway: Lieutenant Blueberry, Valerian, Corto Maltese, The Incal, Tintin, Adéle.
There were plenty to choose from in that period.
Wish I had kept up with current developments.

A bit hit and miss for me but overall it's a good read...until it was decided that melusine needed a plot.
