I work in a bookstore. There are an unimaginable number of Geronimo Stilton books and more coming out all the time. There are so many that they've got two separate fantasy spinoff series. There are time travel ones, a caveman spinoff, a horror spinoff, the girl spinoff, more historical spinoffs I'm not remembering right now... It's endless shit.

There are also a bunch of Fantasy books that have nothing to do with Geronimo Stilton nut still have his name on the cover because they're apparently set in the same universe as the Fantasy Kingdom series but there are no mice, only elves and the art style is more realistic.

It's been a while since I read the books, but I remember that cats exists in another island, they're like pirates or something (there was a book series about one of them), but only one crossover that I remember (Pic related).
I vaguely remember cats being mentioned. I remember the second installment of the series was set in a haunted house that was actually occupied by kid cats who pretended to be ghosts to ward of intruders.
I also remember that one book were they were investigating a highway that was supposedly haunted by a phantom cat, they passed through tunnels that were built during the so called "Great Cat War".

So how popular is Geronimo Stilton? Its TV series got a lot of seasons and there are a lot of spin off in its physical media. It also seems to have somewhat of an international presence.

I have always seen it as something that is popular with kids but not so with any other demographic, other shows you might see older audiences drawing fanart but Stilton fanart is almost nonexistant and not very good.
I only read the Thea Sisters COMIC (not some illustrated book) because it is actually well written and you need pretty much 0 prior knowledge of anything.
