To be fair, I think it's both. With Small intentionally not releasing the lyrics and having different orders for the CD and vinyl releases, I like to believe that the vinyl is Dethklok's story while the CD is Triton's. Small recently released a short film to show Nightmare from Triton's perspective.

Holy shit, yes that's a great song. I love imaging Dethklok and Triton taking on Salacia in a huge epic battle during that one. It even mentions the "pentagram of power keeps the demon away", which undoubtedly is referring to the Dethlights.

I fucking love Small for doing his best to give us a finale to Metalocalypse. I can't wait to see where he takes Galaktikon. Hopefully on tour.
