It's pretty clear that they will be two very distinct personalities that despise one another, bringing Hulk far more into line of the original Mr Hyde-esque concept.
Hulk hates all of humanity, including Banner whilst not wishing to recognise that they are two sides of the same coin.
Not just the Hulk lashing out when Banner is upset and transforms, the Hulk will have far more agency than that.

From interviews at the time, Remender's original plan was for him to not even be an active member of a team, he'd be the Uncanny Avengers publicist, sitting in an office, and refusing their calls to come help them, because he wouldn't get involved in violence. His instability from the Bendis Avengers wouldn't have been completely dropped, and his interaction with Wanda would be more "unhealthy obsession" than "true love".
Between the interviews, and the comics actually being written, things changed and he's become a "pacifist" who takes part in Avengers missions by being the guy who takes the hits but won't hit back. It's lasted since 2013, through several writers. Of all the different phases he's gone through, this has been one of the longest lasting, maybe because it makes an otherwise generic character stand out more.
