My fave. (Not not technically a Lantern).
Favorite Lesser Known Lanterns
Oh cool! A Lantern thread!
It really is a shame that we can't just have a procedural space cop book with a completely non-humanoid rotating cast. I can't be the only one who thinks that every human lantern is boring compared to the insane amount of awesome alien members. Oh, and Best Boy coming through
It is because we are supposed to relate more to them but to be honest I relate more to Kilowag than the others (except Guy and to a lesser extent Kyle).
Also sucks there is so much waifu potential in the core but either they get no involvement, get killed off, or turned evil. Pic related.
Is this just for GL's? Personally Mogo and Bzzd are my favorite background Lanterns of the GLC
You think a bunch of space cops would be a good enough sell on itself, but I guess not since DC feels the need to shoehorn in as many Human Lanterns they can into the book. I mean, you make up a plot device as cool as a Power Ring and all yet DC chooses to focus on how a bunch of boring humans use it in the most dull way possible
has a cloak
creates a bed for herself during deep space travel
writers actually remember she exists most of the time
prime waifu material
What's not to love
It also feels Green Lantern as a brand was hurt by the movie and hasn't recovered. Back when Johns was in charge he turned it into a top 10 best seller and turned it into a franchise but then poof all gone.
A problem I have with modern Lantern books is it seems they mostly fight something related to them like another Lantern group or some dark secret the Guardians' past.
I get why you have human Lanterns I was like "Ok we are good with the four we got you can stop," then they proceed to add two more and not counting Alan Scott we have 7 now!
Also if any alien Lantern got a book besides Kilowag it probably be this guy.
Tomar Re never really grabbed me to be honest. I like my aliens varied in body types, not just completely human aside from maybe blue skin or a third eye. Just wish we got to focus on those guys more. Really makes you think how a lantern ring would have to adapt to fit their needs. Like Rot Lop Fan or Mogo. I'm really surprised how much alien species are not fleshed out in GL aside from those few special cases
Sir Harold, desu.
I know what you mean. Like I wonder what if a member of Phantom Girl's people got a hold of a ring like how could you combine its' abilities with their own or would their ring even become intangible when they go intangible? Has one ever been a Lantern?
Tomar-Re is the fucking bomb.
tfw he was my favorite Lantern when I was younger even though he died before I was even born
Man that comic was great fun, wish we'd had more.
The game was fun too.
He's just a big gorilla, and I dig it
How does everyone feel about Ch'p?
I just really want to see stuff like a lantern that processes light differently due to the evolution of their species or maybe is apart of a hivemind or refuses to use the abilities of a power ring due to non-violent religious belief. Just give me literally anything
I'm surprised we don't have more duel lanterns. Like they're apart of multiple corps because they're eligible for more than just one type of ring. Maybe they'd serve as a type of diplomat or ambassador for Spectrum Politics
Didn't the guy posting those Sinestro War bios have a few Green Lanterns who in their bio had that sort of stuff?
I really miss old Natu. NuNatu sucks
Not a Green Lantern, but a cool Sinestro Corp member
Justice League Action in forever limbo
Name one Lantern that could possibly beat Kyle Blanco (forma perfecta).
Ultra Instinct Bueno Blanco
But can he beat Kyle Blanco Jesucristo (Ecuación de la vida)?
Kyle ruins everything he touches
Gets the life equation
Somehow even fucks that up
Truly he is Green Lantern's Gohan.
HURR DURRR IT'S THE CHARACTER'S FAULT NOT THE WRITER'S
Stay retarded, moron.
When I looked at Adam before I read his bio (which is cool) I thought "Where this guy from the Bara world?"
One I really liked was this one GL who was a humanoid that hosted a population of souls' He would like with one soul, die and be reborn with another. Things was that he/they were stuck at caveman level due to being unable to develop anything and so he was given a ring that stored info. He was still at a hunter-gatherer level but was working on gardening
I can't tell if letting Krypton be destroyed is the best or worst thing to happen under a Green Lantern's watch
And last one.
But you have 7600 more plus all the other Corp, Get back to work you lazy bum!
MAYBE SOME DAY... I'LL REMEMBER TO POST AN IMAGE WITH MY TEXT
Damn, Salaak got busy.
Literally just Batman TBATB but with GL characters
Once again, fuck that live action movie.
What about the literal OP?
