I mean, you make up a plot device as cool as a Power Ring and all yet DC chooses to focus on how a bunch of boring humans use it in the most dull way possible

It also feels Green Lantern as a brand was hurt by the movie and hasn't recovered. Back when Johns was in charge he turned it into a top 10 best seller and turned it into a franchise but then poof all gone.
A problem I have with modern Lantern books is it seems they mostly fight something related to them like another Lantern group or some dark secret the Guardians' past.
I get why you have human Lanterns I was like "Ok we are good with the four we got you can stop," then they proceed to add two more and not counting Alan Scott we have 7 now!
Also if any alien Lantern got a book besides Kilowag it probably be this guy.

Tomar Re never really grabbed me to be honest. I like my aliens varied in body types, not just completely human aside from maybe blue skin or a third eye. Just wish we got to focus on those guys more. Really makes you think how a lantern ring would have to adapt to fit their needs. Like Rot Lop Fan or Mogo. I'm really surprised how much alien species are not fleshed out in GL aside from those few special cases

One I really liked was this one GL who was a humanoid that hosted a population of souls' He would like with one soul, die and be reborn with another. Things was that he/they were stuck at caveman level due to being unable to develop anything and so he was given a ring that stored info. He was still at a hunter-gatherer level but was working on gardening
