>What is this thread? Every Wins'day at Win-O'-Clock we gather here and post links to the latest scans and rips of comic books. Most links we uploaded ourselves, others we are sharing from elsewhere. Some comics we've even purchased ourselves (but most we didn't). If you'd like to help out, just ask and we would be delighted to tell you how. Otherwise, be patient, be polite, and understand the simple concept behind these words: Not posted means not available yet.
>Where can I find downloads for other comics? Warez forums/blogs, DDL-indexing search engines (like FileDiva), torrent trackers (like ExtraTorrent) and other P2P networks (like DC++). If a link has been posted on Sup Forums, you can search for it in the Desu archive (add "http*" to searches to return only posts with links). If all else fails, just >buy it.
>Where can I buy comics? comixology.com/ amazon.com/ On the various publishers' webstores, and at your local comics shop.
>How do I download from websites that only give me .exe files? Untick the checkbox under the download button.
>How can I find this thread every week? If you are using the inline extension go to Sup Forums.org/co/official or use the option under "Filters & Post Hiding". If you have 4chanX go to Settings > Filter > Subject and add the following line: /Official Win-O'-Thread/;highlight
>And last but not least Slightly-less-shit-week-than-the-previous-weeks-but-still-shit week
Checked my external. I only have that Stray Ongoing by Danke. Let me double check some more.

Hey Win-O, did Shadowcat ever rip New Mutants 086 (1990)? Seem like they did everything else but I can’t find that one.

>The Highest House god I hate comics, I have to wait THIRTY DAYS to wait for 20-something pages of this story, books are much more manageable tho I can't remember being this invested in one since, well, Carey's last one I guess, The Unwritten
Oliver Williams
Welcome to why nobody buys this fucking medium anymore.
Thomas Barnes
books are normal jerking off, comics are torturous edging
Michael Ward
When someone storytimed the first one an user commented saying that several issues are already out overseas. He said that the first issue was half of the already released one, which is why it ends so abruptly. Same thing with Kirkman's Oblivion Song, which is apparently already a six-issues hardcover in France.
Ryan Bell
>torturous edging No one asked you what you were doing later tonight.
Nathan Jackson
Thanks for looking.

Not a new thing when it comes to European releases in the US. Elves was doing something similar, at first.
>Was any of the "Actionverse: Stray" issues released past issue 001?
So no, I was remembering incorrectly and the other reference seems to be asking where the second issue is, but nos. 002-006 were definitely missed the week (and week after) they were released by Action Lab and nothing else seems to be ripped except after 001.
So the best bet seems to be just to request that Danke or someone else at Empire to rip the trade and get the issues that way.
Asher Sanchez
How is the Bloodborne comic?

Does anyone know of an alternative to the AllComicBooks.us hitlist since it's become pay to access? It was the only place I could find that would post the new rips of back issues.
Christian Richardson
Announce hub.

Any Skylanders comic like Skylanders Quarterly—Spyro & Friends: Biting Back?
Connor Harris
How do I access it.
Jonathan Hernandez
You don't, unless you have the brains to figure out how to DC++. Apex client is apparently the superior choice.
Christopher Cooper
Is a vpn necessary like for torrents or are the downloads encrypted? How aggressive are ISP when downloading from hubs?
DC++ and Apex aren't torrents, they are peer to peer (remember Napster?). Your ISP shouldn't really notice anything more than more activity on your account.
Torrents are different and that depends on your ISP; VPNs are helpful for that, but you can save some cash and see if it's an actual issue with your ISP or not (if you're on a big commercial one like Spectrum, or using data plan via your mobile carrier, it's far less likely but I'm just tossing out names as examples, don't go by me - do your research).
Carter Mitchell
Last question for Announce hub do you have to seed to join and if so how much?
Hudson Smith
>AllComicBooks. >pay to access
I guess RG premium and uploaded wasn't whore-y enough. I'd say I'd miss it but it's not like I was ever there.
Bentley Diaz
The site itself was nothing much but the hitlists from it that were posted on pastebin had a ton of stuff that's not in the win-o threads namely back issue rips from Glorith, Minutemen & even Empire. Now those daily updated list's are gone with the site going donor only.
Henry Collins
Again, it's not quite seeding, the way you think of it for torrents. Apparently, you might be able to join announce hub without a share, so you would find out what's exists:
"You can get on the announce hub, there is no sharing or chatting. It's sole purpose is to display what is being released. I think you can even connect without an account, but I could be mistaken."
Perfection and Shack are two other hubs where people actually share comics. It's a peer to peer client, DirectConnect (e.g. ApexDC++ or EiskaltDC++)
You do have to have a certain amount if your share. I don't belong so I'm not the right person, this should help you:
"they are NOT open to the public, but are a membership group - you need to have a certain amount and of an acceptable kind - read this about Perfection, it's generally the first hub folks start with:
You can find more info if you just do a DESU search for 'Perfection Hub' and a few other search terms, that's where I am getting these quotes for you. Good luck.

Thanks

You could look at it another way, the owner of My Comic Post lost the domain name, sold it to a friend who got it back up with the same design and a new domain name (.net instead of .com) and pretty much just missed a few weeks of being on line. But then, after a few years, this person (all third worlders, btw) decided it wasn't worth the few pennies they got from advertising, etc., so they sold it and the current, most recent owner didn't bother paying the domain registration since they weren't making enough money from the fourth rate (non-Google Adsense) form they were using.
It's the fourth site that's gone down in the past 12 months. If all you want is 0-day releases and you want to make sure you get here and get them, you probably don't care. But that's not the entire universe.
