Thing is, Bannon isn't really one, so the biggest "argument" against was to tie him to the alt-right and personally to Spencer, using his sperging as a straw man.
The NPI charade's only goal was to undermine Bannon and force Trump into a corner. "Alt-righers" were already called nazis, deplorables, etc so a video of a few autists throwing nazi salutes won't change any perceptions of the group one way or another. Richard Spencer was the kikes' wild card in this psyop that they played perfectly.
