College was not a major deal back a few decades ago. What this means is that older people right now who are not necessarily dumber, will not have college degrees. Right now, every single kid has to go to college, dumb or smart. And graduating from college is not really worth much depending on major.
What this means is, older people are more likely not to have college degrees simply because it was not "hot" back then. So it's misleading to say more college graduates vote for Hillary.
