So I found myself a short-term, part time, 20 hour per week job. I pretty much just started and I fucking hate it already. It's been like this with every other job I've ever had. The first few days/week is pretty cool, but by the second week everything is so fucking mundane and tedious and boring and soul sucking. Not to mention it takes up your whole day - how does anyone manage 40+ hours a week? You're spending almost every waking moment being a slave doing completely uninspiring shit, taking orders from your boss all day, with just a few precious minutes to spend to yourself/your wife/kids at the end of the day, before you have to go to sleep and do it all again tomorrow. I know there isn't really a better solution available ,but what's the point of living if all you're living for is just to be a wagecuck? Does anyone here have a job they actually enjoy?

Failure rate for retails is around 99.95%, regardless of the method involved. Tried to teach my closest friends, they all went bust despite me spoonfeeding them. Hi OP I am a risk analyst for a very large company, been working here since I graduated with my honours finance degree.i get paid 64k salary which at my 40 hour scheudal is around 32$ an hour. I work from 7-4 with an hour lunch.
Let me walk you through my day today (still ongoing)
6am - alarm goes off, turn it off to back to sleep
6:50am - finally roll out of bed, yup gonna be late again. I havnt showed up at 7 in around 2 months at this point.
7:10am leave my house after showering / taking a piss and getting dressed in my suit
7:10am hop in my car, I drive a 2014 jeep Cherokee, leather interior and heated seats (it snows in winter)
7:20 show up to the office, I get free parking which is nice and I only live 10m away from work
7:30 get to my desk, 30minutes late is typical for me, my job is project based so it hardly matters
7:30-9:30 - I checked my e-mails, nothing new or important, I have a task that needs to be done today but I did most of it on Monday, so I browse Sup Forums for 2 hours on my phone and trade stocks, today I bought 400 shares of NA.TO a Canadian banking stock, banks have been doing good lately. I got them at 49.90 each
9:30-10;00 I go down to a nearby dennys and have breakfast with a few coworkers, we talk about videogames
10;00-11:30 I do my task, essentially my actual work gets done in this time, it consists of me clicking some buttons on my computer and triggering a slew of programs and macros I coded a while.back
11:30-12:30, go out to a pub for lunch, obv can't drink beer but they have great wings.
12:30-now browse Sup Forums, mostly Sup Forums and /r9k/. Also been observing my banking stocks, currently at 50.35 now. I will likely close my position soon at a profit of 45cents per share, 400x that's around 180bucks. Not a huge haul today but a safe and easy one. I have had days during the weed boom where I wqa getting 2-3k a day...
Either way I should end today with around $500 of profit, minus the $26 I spent on food. Its not bad DESU

I personally stick with old fashioned stock trading, being that Canadians get a tax free stock trading account, its nice to be able to take all my gains home instead of forking it over to the government.
Plus with the recent weed stock craze going on, there have been so many opportunities to make cash. Only thing is you need capital for it to matter.

I hate the environment, managers and coworkers.
I work 30 h/week in a grocery store and I like it. I get to meet a lot of people by the cash register and it includes other things like giving out postal packages, selling lottery tickets and gambling services.
Putting stuff on shelves is pretty boring but most of the time I won't have to do that (I'm quite slow) because the boss noticed I do a better job meeting customers and preparing sandwiches sold in the store.
