yea a lot of the time I rationalize how I should really quit weed, and that it's insidiously cunning and unhealthy, yet on the weekend I'd be quitting, I'd just feel completely unsatisfied until I got zooted. It sucks cuz it feels like nothing will make me feel good until I smoke some weed. It's a feelings game unfortunately, and I guess I just need to push through it.

I was abusing my benzo script, lazing about stuffing my face and generally not giving a fuck about the implications (benzos are good for that). I finally got to the point where enough people pointed out my fatness, and decided to exercise some discipline in my life and diet. Regular exercise, cut down on the meds, 6 months later I'm down ~50 lbs. Still got some work to do, and I've plateaued with my current activity. Think it's time to do some weight training and more strenuous activity.
the first few days were rough just because id become so use to coming home from work and smoking but after a few days i didnt feel the urge to..id like to but i dont feel like i have to and its only been a week. it gets easier everyday, best of luck user ill be rooting for you if no one else is

Look for s decent strength Program like 531 Wendler, candito, starting strength etc and add some Cardio and conditioning. Don't Start running if you are fat, rather hit the weights and Start swimming or cyclibg. Make sure to eat around 1.5g Protein per kg bodyweight.

YES, this is something you NEED. Think about it. Without confidence, women will feel uncomfortable around you.

Have you heard of The Way of The Superior Man? Another self help book that really helped me off my feet. A good portion of it is about women but the first quarter or so is very helpful. It talks about goals and having/finding a purpose etc.
Also King Warrior Magician Lover for anons that are a bit more spiritual or are open minded to exploring psychology. Talks about the archetypes of boy and man psychology and how to transition from boy psyche to man. Very interesting read.

My testosterone was like 271 or so
It was a mix of shit diet, being 18%-20% bodyfat, and really bad sleep.
Every day I've been eating 2 eggs, four pieces of bacon, nuts, and in general have been eating better.

i quit 4 years ago and have only done it once since then when a friend came back to town.
this is pretty much what i did. i told myself i was stopping on a certain date. smoked like crazy to use up all my stash on that date, then never bought any more & stopped hanging out with people who did.
it is a physical habit though so it is a good idea to have something to replace it. i've gone through many things that replace the physical aspect of actually taking the time to smoke a joint. instead of having a joint i might have a coffee, do some pushups, do a set of an exercise, have an orange.

I don't understand how people can become dependent on weed. I smoked almost every day for like 3-4 months when earlier this year during school. Quit when I went out of state to do some work and I didn't even miss it. I think my only real addiction is the internet.
Really? And how's your position in life? Because I'm in the local equivalent of a trade school course with grades that easily allow me to qualify for university and scholarships. I'm working really for this prestigious government research one that's a bit above my GPA right now.
My parents are millionaires, both working. One is a high level government official which pays the shit here, the other is a director in an international IT firm. Both corner office. Even if I flunk out its alright because they're willing to put me up in a uni overseas. I have enough personal savings to cover all my uni fees if I don't want a scholarship so I'll never have student debt.

i would recommend either guitar or piano, but guitar over piano - simply because it is the everyman's instrument, you can learn to set it up and do simple maintenance yourself, and the resources available for it are nearly infinite. what i recommend for this is definitely take lessons for at least 6 months, and also spend at least $200 on a guitar, anything you buy cheap you buy twice.

Same with booze. I used to drink a shit-ton more. (Like 1/4 of a handle a day) social life improved a little bit as not having to be home at 9pm to start drinking so I can wake up for work on 12 hours but that's it. My health is much better though, no more shakes
