I do think it makes more sense to focus on cardio and actual combat training past a certain point though.

I like to go to Snap Fitness after midnight so no one will be there and I can scream and be autistic without getting hassled.

I maintain my muscles. I have yet to encounter things I have to lift that I cannot. I regularly hike and climb. I am capable of running long distances before tiring, and I can lift my entire body up and onto a ledge with one hand (until I need the other one for balance when I'm getting to the top). I'm 6'1" and 240 lbs and I've got some belly fat, and a bit of pectoral fat.

I don't consider myself unfit, but I also don't have the time or desire to become a bodybuilder since I work 60 hour weeks. That said, if someone works hard, has a family, contributes to the economy and their society, then so what if they're a little out of shape? I believe all people should be healthy, but few people will ever need to really push their bodies to their limits in modern society. Leave that to the athletes and soldiers.
