Anyways, after realizing that history has not treated the Nazis fairly, I want to learn about who else has been tarnished. Does anybody have any redpills or resources for someone who wants to learn about the Confederacy from a non-Union perspective? Books, videos, any resources or recommendations to start me off will do, really.
Alternatively, also looking for anything on how the Union probably weren't the selfless heroes the textbooks make them out to be.
Are there many Confederate loyalists still around today?
I'll try to clarify my requests if I can. I just don't even know where to start learning about the Confederacy.
The South was fighting for a number of causes, of which slavery was only one. For the most part, they did not want to be told what to be done.
In many ways, it was more about State Rights than anything else.
