why do you care if another person does something that doesn't effect you?

Except it does as a whole. THC and marijuana have been linked to psychosis and other psychotic disorders in teenagers and young adults. If weed is legalized nationally, we can expect to become an Idiocracy in no time.
Also, weed does not cure cancer. It is not some magical miracle drug.

Why do boozehounds always fail to cite medical alcohol and other non-recreational uses for it to justify why they should be allowed to drink it recreationally?

Oh wait, they can't because alcohol is useless degeneracy that kills people.

We wouldn't be here without alcohol because it was the only thing that kept drinking water fresh enough to survive a long journey across the ocean.

You in particular wouldn't be here without alcohol either.

well, the real reason they should be allowed to smoke it recreationally is because prohibition has caused more harm than good and it's really none of the government's fucking business what you do in your own home to your own body.

But when it comes down to it, having it medically be legal is more important than recreational. When we have an opioid epidemic like we're going through now, we need alternative, non addictive, chronic pain medications. Period.

Lol why are the pyramids always used to prove made up facts

Fuck off bootlicking faggot I'll kill u of you fuck with my weed cunt

I like some peer reviewed sources other than your gaping asshole.

Marijuana is less harmful than Tobacco and Alcohol.

Not a single case of a marijuana related has ever been recorded.

SO FUCK OFF.

If you guys get to smoke cigarettes that kill 480,000 people a year in the US and drink alcohol that kills 91,000, I should be able to vape a drug that kills 0 people a year.

>hur dur muh weed is less harmful than x and y

That doesn't mean it's good for you, degenerative weeb. I'm a studying toxicologist. I actually know what I'm talking about. Google "psychosis and marijuana use", you lazy fuck

So nostalgia is a reason to keep drunk drivers on the road and children being abused?

You should calibrate your moral compass senpai.

Oh gee I didn't know you were an authority on the matter let me just bow down now that you stated you were an expert in the field

Driving under the influence includes marijuana, even if it's legal, you cuck

Yeah, I would if I were you, faggot, considering you probably didn't even get your HSD and settled for a GED and spend your time shitposting

>Alcohol legal
>Obama gets elected
>The people legalize cannabis in numerous states
>Trump gets elected

flawless logic there. reminder anyone saying cannabis is degenerate has taken a placebo redpill

Because recreational use is medicinal use. It's an anxiolytic, and a stress reliever.
There's plenty of moral reasons you have no fucking right to tell me if I can, or cannot smoke weed as well though if you want to hear those.
>incoming slippery slope fallacy about degeneracy

I honestly thought a leaf made this post before I clicked on it because it was so shitty.

For shame.

>That doesn't mean it's good for you

Smoking it recreationally? No. Of course not. But nor is that any reason to essentially ruin some random dude's life by tossing his ass in prison for the sole offense of having weed on him. Not to mention waste away our tax dollars on something so trivial.

Why do you anti-weed faggots always cite pot as a means of contributing to laziness and stupidity while ignoring television and internet?

Smoking weed for fun automatically makes you a boring, uninteresting degenerate. Try actually having a personality

Nobody is ignoring it. I don't watch TV and I rarely go on the internet. This is about the only website I go to.

Sucks to suck. There are plenty of ways to avoid prison.
1. Move somewhere where it's legal
2. Permit
Etc
If you're dumb enough to get arrested for marijuana, you probably shouldn't be using or selling it

i smoke everyday but the way some people try to justify it is annoying to listen to.

>I'm a studying toxicologist.
Shouldn't have any trouble citing peer reviewed research then. Oh wait, you're actually a first year and taking remedial prereqs.

There's that slippery slope fallacy.
Not only do different types of cannabis effect you differently they effect different people differently.
>Pot doesn't make you boring.
A lot of boring people just so happen to smoke pot, because it makes being bored more enjoyable
>pot makes you uninteresting
What is interesting, and what isn't is fairly subjective. Some people find Housewives of Orange County interesting. I for one can't stand it. To each their own as long as they aren't harming anyone.

>1. Move somewhere where it's legal

>Just pack up and leave your home, your friends, your job, everything behind and move somewhere else just to be able to smoke a plant without getting tossed in jail and having your life fucked.

Boy that sounds like a lot of fun. But in all seriousness I'm pretty sure that's the whole point of the thread, that it isn't legal in all states, which at this point it really should be.

>2. Permit

Which involves medicinal marijuana, which is completely against what's being argued.

>If you're dumb enough to get arrested for marijuana

You shouldn't be arrested for it period. That's about as dumb as throwing someone in jail for picking a flower.

lets see
>ancient beer linked to hemp beer
>founding fathers endorsed hemp (marijuana essentially)
>cannabis found in ancient egypt
>ancient china
>ancient native american cultures
>weed legalization just got trump elected
fuck off

Even though marijuana is undoubtedly not good for you, the criminalization of marijuana consumption is definitely government overreach into the personal lives of citizens. If you look at comparative statistics, marijuana by itself is far less dangerous than alcohol. You can't overdose or get poisoned from smoking too much pure marijuana. If you do get poisoned, it's probably because there's something added to it. Quite honestly, I don't care what people do with their own bodies, and I think it's ridiculous to use "the greater good" to justify locking up and imprisoning millions of people of whom many committed a crime less societally harmful than drinking alcohol.

Why do statist faggots defend banning cannabis while deadly plants like oleander and nightshades remain legal?

WE WUZ WEED AND SHIT

i don't. i just like to smoke weed. no excuses needed really

Because hemp is one of the best materials on the planet. Dude.

It was once illegal not to grow weed in the US.

because nobody is stupid enough to consume oleander and nightshade recreationally.

Smoke of any form is bad for your lungs, there is no doubt about that. Alcohol is terrible for your liver, there is no doubt about that. Why legal alcohol and illegal cannabis? Please explain this first

>Marijuana is less harmful than Tobacco and Alcohol.

People on this site want that illegal too retard

>making alcohol and tobacco illegal
Fucking degenerates.

Buzzwords have no meaning. Sup Forums faggots say booze and tobacco is degenerate, and then other Sup Forums faggots say outlawing them is degenerate. Be your own person, form your own opinions. Stop latching to fucking buzzwords to validate your opinions to yourself

I have never posted the word "degenerate" until just now. You are correct in it being a buzzword. I wanted to poke fun at everyone calling weed degenerate by using it ironically. Now fuck off, leaf. I love you tho

I'm a leaf but i'm not fucking off, we are here to stay, and I know you love me babe

The problem I have is that marijuana is being tarnished by idiot liberals.

Im pretty conservative and I was the first in my family to jump on the Trump train and I fucking love marijuana. In fact I'm smoking some right now.

But it seems that Hippies and liberal swine have tried to hijack it and make it "theirs". I just want to smoke pot in peace while enjoying my Trump administration. I want nothing to do with liberals, or Muslims.

I dont, I just like being high. Always have

You are against the retarded liberal ideology. Do not let their stupidity prevent you from educating yourself. Research and understand facts to educate yourself, dont listen to rhetoric from people who have never experienced the shit they demonize

I would say hemp =/= weed, but I'm wary of that get.
Witnessed.

Hemp is banned because of the insane growth rates and potential use of the fibers provided from a mass growing (((weed))). It reduces profits of the already profiting lumber industry. Illegality has nothing to do with cannabis making people high. If it was, alcohol would be illegal. The threat is the civilian benefit to hemp product

libertarianism is a dead meme

Trips of truth

I understand your reservation but as it relates to OPs question I don't think it's worth delineating.

GUYS SAGE

MY OLSER BROTER DIED FROM INGECTING MARIFUANAS

he "slammed" at least three marihuanas

The EMTS found the needle still in his finger

Weed is bad and peoples legalizing it are bad and should feel bad

...

Damn straight

Fuck off faggot, you provide nothing to the discussion.

hemp gets abound

a friend of mine rapes women all the time but it doesnt affect me so i think its cool

Because by wiping something out just so other people can't have fun, you have created a lot of other unintended consequences and a measurably lower quality of life for society as a whole.

"Your" Trump administration is appointing someone who's about 75% likely to go after legal Marijuana states and enforce the federal law as Attorney General. The only reason legal weed and legal medical weed are even things is because the President and his AG have said to the DEA and federal law enforcement to leave states with legal marijuana laws alone.

Trump himself claims to want it to be up to the states but really he doesn't give a shit, he'd just assume leave it illegal, but there's enough people who want it legal that its politically expedient to make it a states rights issue, that way pro legalization thinks he's on their side, and for anti legalization there's enough of them that are pro states rights that he won't lose too much support (vs if he said he wanted to legalize it or deschedule it (truly leaving it up to the states), he'd lose a lot of social conservatives like Mormons). If Sessions wants to pursue a lawsuit against Colorado, Washington, Oregon and other legal states, Trump will let him.

and just think Trump considered Christie as AG, and he was 100% certain to go after legal weed states he even campaigned on it.

If you're in a legal weed state, you're hanging by a thread right now, be prepared to go back to buying weed from shifty hispanic dudes and white guys with dreadlocks who smell like shit.

If you're not in a legal state, well, you're already having to buy from shady characters and risking jail time.

>THC and marijuana have been linked to
So has milk.

ITT: Hypocritical alcoholics that can't accept a persons choice to do what they want with their own body.

>>weed legalization just got trump elected
All the legal states voted blue, though, CO was pretty much the only blue state in the midwest.

Every single person I have ever known who smokes weed is a pathetic loser, or successful purely by (((circumstance)))

There is a less confusing way to tell us you don't know any successful people.

"everyone I know that smokes weed is a pathetic loser", he says whilst they have sex with their girlfriends as he posts on a Somalian mud flinging forum

Look at this faggot shitting up the thread. I'll respond to your non-arguments with a non-argument: you sound like an edgy teenage cuckservative. There's your (you)

right

load of fucking shit mate. People from shitty backgrounds and with predispositions to psychosis and mental illness to seek out and smoke pot, yes. What they are doing is self medicating, not causing themselves to become psychotic. It is a magical miracle drug, whether you choose to smoke it or not, cunt

>didn't even read half the bullshit he linked

so this is how you produce idiots

Drug use is degenerate. Sage, only niggers are escapist losers who need a crutch, like Hennessy or nigger tobacco.

honestly though, if you haven't been on DMT you have never really lived.
