Everything was fine until high school. Although I was in a small mostly conservative town (Everyone smokes pot and drinks like a fish though, mostly atheist populous) we had large reservations in town. In high school the natives were fed free food all day, weren't required to go to normal classes and yet were passed through every class simply for attending.
One of those natives was name Herby. He was fairly portly, standing a full 5'2, never doing much more than tipping his cowboy hat and smiling a vacant grin at the normal human beings around him. Herby brutally raped his retarded sister, probably in every orifice he could uncover at the time, and when the faculty told us, they were sure to hammer in the fact that white people ultimately caused this.
This was the first nail in the coffin of my soul.

I went to Vancouver earlier this year, very different from my experiences in Toronto and Quebec.
Hadn't been on the train leaving the airport for 5 minutes before hearing some old guy tear into some Chinese woman for bumping into another woman with her bicycle (of course all the other white people sided with the Chinese woman).
Hotel was majority Asian people. People on the street were like 50% Asian/50% white. Very few black people, the occasional brown person.
Tasty as fuck Asian food though. And great beer selection. Would go back.
